Dear John: These are two photos of my friend’s Franciscan china set made in California from the early 1950s.

This is a VINTAGE earthenware set by Franciscan. A very popular pattern called Desert Rose. These pieces are made in California, USA. In my research for information on this pattern I learned that this pattern has the title of being " the most popular pattern ever made in America".
