Stuff Kids Say

I'm supposed to be studying for a patho test tomorrow but kept thinking of some funny things Keira said today. I don't want to forget them, so here's a quick post on what she's said lately.

Me: How was school today?
K: Good, although LT keeps saying he's in love with me.
Me: Oh? And how do you feel about that?
K: Eh, I keep trying to get him to snap out of it.

K: Mom! I just took a bite of my granola bar and the nut made my tooth wiggly! Its loose for real this time! Do you want to feel it? (as I'm driving)
Me: Yea! I'll feel it later.
K: This means I finally get a tooth fairy! (and by the way tooth fairy is referred to as a "he")

#3 (same topic a bit later)
K: Now, I can't eat apples or granola bars because of my tooth.
Me: You can eat that stuff it will just help it come out quicker.
K: Nah, I'm just going to tie a string to it and slam a door.

Those are just few of the gems I can think of now...back to studying.

Just Kidding...

Due to some ridiculous complications we won't be leaving here till July 16th. Hopefully. I'm starting to feel like I'm in an episode of Lost and I think I know what the smoke monster is.

Another Fish

Allyson LOVES the water which is great for our family since we all love to swim. She looks like she is running as fast as she can when she's trying to swim. We could barely hold on to her.
Our other natural born swimmer. She passed the swim test when she was 3. The other day (after 2 hours of hard swimming), she decided to try the swim test again. She was 10 seconds (treading water, no head going under the water) away from earning her swim pass when she just couldn't do it anymore. She was very upset that she didn't pass...and that she "puked" a little in the pool. All the lifeguards were impressed with what she was able to do, which made her feel a little better...that and they gave her some candy.

It's Official!

We're getting off The Island July 9th.

Allyson's First Pigtails...

She actually left them in for a few hours. Getting them in there to begin with was quite the struggle. Keira keeps asking to have "twin piggie tails day". I just have to get the will power to do Allyson's hair again.

Well, since I'm done with school (for the summer), I decided to update my blog...at least until we move. Enjoy the pics!
This was Keira's first "season" of soccer...I have better pictures of her playing, but they're not on my computer yet...yeah, I'm a little lazy.

It would seem I have another daredevil on my hands...I wonder where they get it from.

We should of named her Tazmanian Devil...seriously. We call her Taz for short. See the room behind her. It was SPOTLESS when I left for about 5 minutes. I cam back to find this mess and her in the act. I don't think she looks the least bit sorry.

Along with soccer, Keira also started ballet and tap. She had a recital at the end of April. I think if she pursues dance, it will be modern dance based on the crazy face/pose above.

The song they danced to was the Children of Siam from the King and I broadway show.

Her very good friends, Alex and Ava.

Ally really enjoyed the songs and when Keira would dance...as well as all the food mom and dad shoveled in her mouth to make her be quiet during the recital.

This was her next outfit for tap. They did a dance to "Rap and Tap" which was really cute.
