These are some guidelines for the Trinity stitch: 
🧶Start with an even number of chains (you will want an odd number of stitches in each row)
🧶[sc3tog, ch 1] repeat across the row (sc3tog = single crochet 3 together)
🧶Work the first part of the sc3tog into the same stitch that you just worked into 
🧶Start and end each row with a sc instead of a ch 1
