Once again posting about this amazing project that I collaborated on with @olivest_studio and her new rebrand! Taking the logo, fonts and colours and mixing that with some beautiful (tooting my own horn) hand drawn illustrations of the olive branches by me and THIS is what you get! OOLIO - premium Greek olive oil! Cold pressed and sun drenched has such a good ring to it 😎 that’s what inspired me to go for this whole design! I’ve been itching to use @bymegburk new typeface Guava and this seemed like such a good fit. I love pairing chunky fonts like this with a short name and oolio worked so well. Full branding for Italian restaurant oilio. The identity pays homage to the utility, fun, and history of olive oil and olives in the cuisine. oilio aims to acknowledge the shared experience of food and drink, all while recognizing the evolving nature of modern Italian cuisine. The movement in the logo is a nod to oil + olives and their ever-changing, bold, liquid nature.
