The exterior itself is a vibrant canvas, and inside, the hallways are a "Gallery Walk" of creativity and encouragement. Murals with messages like "Connect As One," "Play, Learn & Grow Together," and "Kids with Disabilities Are Just Kids" create a truly inclusive and uplifting environment. Every sign, from the "Welcome" banner with its playful dolphins to the call for "Volunteer" work, reinforces their powerful motto: "Your Contribution = Their Hope."

During my tour, I was particularly moved by the vocational training programs. It was a privilege to witness parents and volunteers diligently working at their sewing machines, learning to create beautiful textile products. Their dedication and focus were truly impressive. The fruits of their labor were proudly displayed in a showcase of exquisite handmade bags.

New Safety Measures for School Vans in Johor After Tragic Incident

Following the tragic death of a five-year-old boy left in a school van, Johor has implemented stringent new safety measures for school vans transporting 10 or more children.

Johor education and information committee chairman Aznan Tamin announced a new Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) with several key components designed to enhance child safety:

• Alarm Systems: Some vans are equipped with alarms to alert if a child is left behind.
