Leo Esaki

Reona Esaki (江 崎 玲 於 奈Esaki Reona, lahir 12 Mac 1925), juga dikenali sebagai Leo Esaki, ialah seorang ahli fizik Jepun yang berkongsi Hadiah Nobel dalam Fizik pada tahun 1973 dengan Ivar Giaever dan Brian David Josephson untuk kerja-kerja dalam terowong elektron dalam bahan semikonduktor yang akhirnya membawa kepada penciptaannya diod Esaki, yang mengeksploitasi fenomena itu. Penyelidikan ini dilakukan ketika beliau bersama Tokyo Tsushin Kogyo (sekarang dikenali sebagai Sony). Beliau juga menyumbang untuk menjadi perintis superlatteks semikonduktor.[1][2][3]
