::Apologies for the tardy response. What I am suggesting would take place at the VRTS [https://commons.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?title=Commons:Wikimedia_VRT_release_generator&withJS=MediaWiki:Relgen.js release generator] where the user chooses if they are either the copyright holder or represent the copyright holder (I think it's JavaScript). When they click on one of the 2 choices, they are asked to provide more information. Can we, at that point, simply add another box that requests the url of the image? I'm not a tech, but isn't that license information the info we get in the queue?
