Roberts' family fun. We love Bear Creek Lake Park and paddleboard rentals. Sweetheart beach never disappoints either. We made it twice-- though it was near the end of summer and we missed going with our friends. Next summer....

Reviving the old blog to celebrate our happy and colorful day. This was D's first event post knee surgery. It was a little chilly today, but we had fun. Cookie was so happy to be included.

Where's Thursday?

Once when freckles was a little girl she loved the wild bunnies that lived in the bushes behind our house. Each day, she would count and name them all.

Freckles: Mommy, that one is Sunday..there is Monday and Tuesday, that little one is Wednesday, that one by the house is Friday and Saturday is hiding in the bushes
Mommy: where's Thursday? Why isn't there a Thursday?
Freckles: Thursday is not a good name for a bunny.

She's right of course. Thursday is not a a good name for a bunny.
