Αυτό σκέφτηκα μόλις αντίκρισα τη θέα του καθιστικού πριν λίγα λεπτά. Όλα, τα απίστευτα πολλά!, μικροαντικείμενα που κατοικοέδρευαν στα δύο κυρίως δωμάτια, τώρα κοίτωνται μπροστά μου με ανάγλυφη την απορία στο πρόσωπο τους (και το μουσούδι της Μπιζού).

Oλίγα cd βρήκαν παρηγοριά στο υπέροχο κουτί από το άρωμα του Marc Jacobs, daisy.

Όλίγα βιβλία αναζήτησαν προσωρινή ισορροπία στο πάτωμα, παρέα με ένα σωρό άλλους φίλους από την πρώην ραφιέρα.

λίγο πιο πέρα, σε περίοπτη θέση στο τραπέζι μέσης, που τώρα έχει γίνει κάτι σαν πάγκος παλιατζή, ορισμένα από τα βιβλία που παρέλαβα εχτές από το αγαπημένο πια alibris.co.uk ( από 2 δολάρια μέχρι και 7,68 δολάρια το καθένα, σου λέω μπήκα σε μεγάλα έξοδα πάλι!!)

Η πορτοκαλάδα είναι έτοιμη! Σε λίγο θα είναι έτοιμη και η βυσινάδα!

Εχτές έγινα φίλη με τον χρωματοπώλη της γειτονιάς μου. Γίναμε δε τόσο καλοί φίλοι, που μου έδωσε ολόκληρη τη σκαλιέρα (!) της Sherwin Williams (οικολογικά, και ωραία) και όχι μόνο το χρωματολόγιο, για να τη μελετήσω με ησυχία στο σπίτι… ο συνδυασμός που βλέπεις επάνω παίζει για το υπνοδωμάτιο, ενώ ο πιο κάτω για το γραφείο-δωμάτιο 2-ησυχαστήριο μου.

ΓΙΑ ΠΑΜΕ ΝΑ ΔΟΥΜΕ!!!

Δεν θα σε κουράσω άλλο, καταλαβαίνεις τι κόλλημα είναι!!! …με το που αλλάζω τα χρώματα στους τοίχους, έχει αλλάξει το κουβερλί, οι κουρτίνες, τα λινοσκεπάσματα, μόνο το χαλί έμεινε ατάραχο!!!

Often, when I’m called in to help with choosing color for interiors, my clients have a good idea of what they want and don’t want.  Stacks of paint samples are piled around the room, fabric samples stacked on a counter, and advertisements are ripped from  home magazines. Sometimes, existing pieces of art or furniture dictate how the color will go together in the space. These clients may feel stuck, but they’re in great shape because they’re already editing their likes and dislikes, and know what they’re after. I’m more of a color referee, than a dictator.

And then there are times when a client is faced with an empty slate. With no existing pieces to dictate our direction, nor any preference or prejudice about color, we have to find color inspiration somewhere else. We go through magazines and exchange numerous emails to find something that clicks, and we go from there.  I’m there as a detective, drawing out their true colors.

But what if we decided that this very sensible approach was entirely too sensible? What if we looked to the stars to find your perfect palette?  Would that be any more risky than trying to find color inspiration as you stand in a badly-lit store poring over thousands of paint colors, while listening to elevator music?  No, I didn’t think so either. So I’ve created your very own paint color horoscope.

Aries –  You’re a confident soul. Your energy is boundless, and you’ve even considered doing all of your own painting once your colors are chosen.  A true leader, you’ve instead decided to enlist the help of family and friends… while you head to the golf course.  Oh, did I also mention that you’re very clever?  An Aries has the confidence to live with bold colors and strong design.

Aquarius – I’ve been saving a really fun purple paint color just for you, Aquarius. There is no one in the zodiac that does unique the way you do.  My father was an Aquarius.
