Lilies in Bloom

One of my Asiatic Lilies finally bloomed. Chad doesn't like them because they get all tall and he thinks they look like weeds. I think they are pretty so I took a picture of the first one to bloom. There are still about 7 more that need to bloom so hopefully they will go. We had to move them to a different area of our lawn so I am hoping we kept some of the pink ones because those are really pretty.

My Little Sister's Wedding

My little sister Amy got married on June 20 on Laguna Beach in California. Chad and I decided to drive out there this time (never again). The only benefit to driving was that we met up with Joe and Lexi in Vegas which was totally fun! It was a very small and pretty ceremony and Amy looked so pretty! While we were out there we ate at the best restaurant of my life. It was sooo yummy. Here are some pics:

This is Chad and Zac while we were waiting for the ceremony to begin. I am sure Chad is giving Zac some good advice about marriage... Zac, Marie's always right... I mean... well yeah. ;)Here is Amy and Zac during the ceremony. You know what's funny? Why do mom's cry at weddings? It makes no sense at all. Both my mom and Zac's mom were crying and I hate to admit it, but it was kind of cracking me up. It was like Niagra Falls at my wedding. Get over it mom!
Exchanging the rings. Sorry I cut off your head Amy!
After the reception Chad and I stayed to frolic in the ocean... Actually just me. Chad's deathly afraid of being eaten by a shark... but don't tell him I told you.
These are from that restaurant I was talking about. Can't remember the name for the life of me! All I know is the steak, enchilada, shrimp combo I had was to DIE for! There was so much I had to give it away, which was sad, cause it was so tasty! Aren't my neice and nephew so darn cute? Ooh! I just want to squeeze them and love them!
Here is my Uncle Jason, Me, and my brother Eric at the restaurant.
Overall it was a great trip. I am glad my sister has Zac so he can put up with her crap! Congrats! HAHAHA. Isn't marriage great? :)

What We've Been Doing

I have been soooo busy with school that it seems like I never have time to do anything anymore! After this summer I'll have just 2 more semesters until I am done... wow it seems like forever but there is light at the end of the tunnel.

I truly don't have much time to update you so this will be simple.

Since January:

  • Laid off, new job, re-hired at old job. It's been a rollercoaster at work!
  • Renovating our lawn for Bridal Shower (see below)
  • Bridal Shower for my sister Amy (getting married on June 20)
  • Camping
  • BBQ!
  • Birthdays: Eric (my brother), Marques (Nephew), Miranda (Niece), & Myself
  • 4 year Anniversary on June 4
We are keeping busy so I will try to keep you updated as we go along. This weekend we are headed to California for my sister's BIG DAY. I'll put pics on here when I get them.

Tribute to Angie

This is for my very special special friend Angie. I hope she gets a kick out this. Apparently she is not apart of my scrapbooks enough... LOL this is cracking me up. She is in Hawaii now hopefully enjoying herself in the sun while we are all stuck in the snow. I am a little jealous...in a hateful way ;) Anyway, just wanted her to appreciate my effort to stick her in here. HAHA. Love you Ange!

WOW for Chad

I caught Chad in the act! You are now viewing (Dec. 20) the very first time Chad held Justice since she was born. I feel special being part of this. LOL.

Trains

I know Christmas is long over but I wanted to show you all what I meant by "Christmas Trains." Each year my family gets together and makes trains out of candy. It's so much fun, mostly because all the candy is there for eating! We had a really good turnout too!

Horse Riding

Late November Chad, my mom and I took the kids down to Jason and Angie's house to ride the horse. Dixie wasn't quite ready and she kind of tossed off Marquez when we weren't expecting it. We swapped out the horses and besides my mom breaking a toe, everything went just fine. LOL. At least Marquez wasn't afraid to keep riding!
