One meet and three national qualifiers for the College of Southern Idaho indoor track team.
Sophomores Keegan McCraw, Lillian Neff and Rozzlyn Cazier qualified for the NJCAA Men’s and Women’s Indoor Track and Field Championships, thanks to performances this past weekend at the Weber State Invitational.
The NJCAA Division I Men’s and Women’s Indoor Track and Field Championships are set for March 7-8 at the Sports Performance Center in Lubbock, Texas.
McCraw qualified in the men’s 3,000 meters in 8:52.48 as he placed 16th.
Two other CSI men’s runners placed top 10 in other events. Freshman Owen Stouffer (Wood River) finished third in the 400 meters in 52.75 while freshman Bowen Brendle finished ninth in the 800 meters in 2:09.26.
Neff and Cazier qualified in the women’s 3,000 meters. Neff finished seventh in 10:42.59 while Cazier finished 14th in 10:58.82. Neff set a personal best. Former Golden Eagle Liz Phillips, now a junior at Utah State, won the event in 10:16.83.

CSI sophomore Elizabeth Phillips will run the mile and the 3,000 meters at nationals, and is seeded second in both with her altitude adjusted times.Â
Athletes from Utah State, Weber State, Westminster University, Salt Lake Community College and Snow College also competed in the event.
CSI will compete Friday at Idaho State University’s Snake River Open.
