Motivation
editThe National Humanities Center Fellowship program seeks to raise the profile of its Fellows by implementing Schema.org on their organizational webpages. In the schema for Fellows with existing Wikidata IDs, the National Humanities Center will use a "sameAs" synonym in all properties associated with a name (for example author) in the Person and Creative Work schema so this fellowship award will be linked to Wikidata and the Google Knowledge Panel. A National Humanities Center Fellowship is widely considered to be one of the most prestigious awards a scholar in the humanities can win.
