Discussion
edit- can we break it up into person and organization? Germartin1 (talk) 08:20, 9 January 2023 (UTC)
- @Germartin1: we could but I don't think that would help. because there's multiple kinds of organizations in the database (look at the prefixes in the examples). So either way the format of the identifiers would be the same ($type/$name). BrokenSegue (talk) 18:01, 10 January 2023 (UTC)

- Support I would have to agree. A very informative site. 👍 Ottawajin (talk) 13:06, 30 January 2023 (UTC)
- Support Similar in structure to LittleSis (Q64038192) (cf. LittleSis organization ID (P3393)) and SourceWatch (Q599427). -Animalparty (talk) 18:39, 3 February 2023 (UTC)
- Question: Should we also add allowed values for other categories like government-agency, labor-union, political-party, and legislation, e.g. National Labor Relations Board, National Labor Relations Act, and Freedom Socialist Party? Or do we even need to explicitly add them? There are a variety of prefixes, and possibly more in the future. Is the property coding robust enough to accommodate such diversity? -Animalparty (talk) 19:05, 3 February 2023 (UTC)
- @Animalparty: I think organization already covers political party and labor-union and government agency. I would suggest adding legislation to the allowed values. BrokenSegue (talk) 20:05, 3 February 2023 (UTC)

@BrokenSegue, Germartin1, Laftp0, Ottawajin, Animalparty: Done as InfluenceWatch ID (P11615). Added legislation to the regex and gave an example on legislation. --Lymantria (talk) 07:59, 22 February 2023 (UTC)
