Why i stopped at season 2 So even tho it's known that the second generation is the best one i only saw the first. As much presentation as it is and as much diversity the show is still extremely un-relatable. Yes sure. There're black, Indian, gay, lesbian, blonde, brunette representation but STILL you can absolutely not relate to them , at least not easily. The thing with this show is that the characters aren't developing much. There isn't a lot of plotting so they can evolve. It's just a day to day in the lives of these extreme teenagers. If they had to be extreme, them give them an extreme character development. Anyway; this is why representation isn't equal relatability. The characters have to be REAL. The dialogues have to MEANINGFUL. We need to learn new things with them. It sucks that most of em don't have interests or hobbies so they seem pretty empty and centered around relationships and sex. Overall this isn't a horrible show, just not something you should knowing there is much better out there.
