The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives
(2024)

Vapid as hell...
Like...oh my God...I'm so excited...

That's ALL I hear when these women talk. This entire doc was so weird. I come from a high control religion myself and so I understand their issues and plight of being held to insane religious expectations and levels of perfection.

But THESE chick's were annoying...and just came across so air headed. They are all so young and I feel for them, because they wanted to have fun. BUT, again, these women were all so annoying...and that's just my personal opinion.

If this interests you, cool. I believe that they all were all pressured to be "good girls" in their Mormon lives, and so this scandal wad freedom for them...and attention.

Mea Culpa
(2024)

TP...please be open to getting some help
I tried...I really tried to give this a chance. But within the first 15 mins of this B movie, it was clear this was the same as every other TP movie: bland, bad acting, no character development, and dare I say it - corny.

Zyair and Mea had absolutely NO chemistry. None. Just 2 beautiful chocolate individuals with amazing bodies - that's it! How within their what, 2nd or 3rd meetup, Zyair demands meeting at his place, gets mad Mea wouldn't tell him she finds him "attractive", and she as a lawyer of a murder suspect - would sit down and close her eyes and let this dude lead the way (as she painted). I'll be damned...🙄

The ending was pathetically played and shot. These so called action scenes were high school play level, and the plot twist at the end wasn't "oh my God" type either - just bland. TP has once again succeeded at producing another not-good flick, and it's so embarrassing now. But I'm sure those Boomers who love a good soap and chitterling circuit play, will adore this latest addition to the TP universe.

But hey - outside of the moms obviously fake hair, the WIGS weren't bad this time. That's a plus!

The Curious Case of Natalia Grace
(2023)

This was a waste of time yo watch...
It was good to finally hear Natalie's side of things, and I believe her. She clearly gives off developmental issues (autism) which affects how she comes across in body language and speech. But the most deplorable of this whole series is Michael Barnett! My God is that man creepy and weird...like I wanted to hurt HIM solely because of how much he deflected, denied, danced around topics, and really wasted everyone's time acting like an emotionally immature Manchild. Karma is the justice he will receive, trust and believe the Universe will pay him.back for all he did (and claims he didn't do). His victim hood may be legit, but he also proved himself to be a nutcase that too was "the bad guy" and watching this grown ass man speak like HE couldn't stop or help Natalia, is pathetic.

This young woman deserved better and this doc was not good at all.

The Silent Twins
(2022)

Found these girls...ridiculous
I'm sorry for being so judgemental, but these twins were annoying. It is ok to be quiet when necessary, it is even ok not to respond to people you aren't comfortable with/don't like/make you upset. BUT...these 2 crossed all boundaries and chose to just not speak to anyone - at all. Going so far as just not only going mute but not moving and having to physically be moved around. That, to me, is ridiculous and manipulative. I don't doubt these 2 had major mental health issues - but they are no heroes in my book! They acted out in a spoiled manner by literally ignoring everyone in life but each other.

Unfaithful: Caught in the Act
(2022)

This is so bad...
I can't believe how BAD this show is. 2 eps in and I can't take anymore. It is 100% scripted - and badly! The acting is ghetto as Hell...and I really wish (reality) TV didn't go this far! Always loved T Roman, but this show is a "low" for her...she can do better.

The Anarchists
(2022)

Documentary is good - People in it are nuts.
Remember those kids in high school that were just "different"? They always loudly proclaimed how they were so "different" by trying to be edgy...but in reality they were just weird?!?! Lol. This doc is them - all grown up. This doc is literally about privileged adults with mental health issues and twisted ideas about conspiracies...the end.

Everything's Trash
(2022)

Who wrote this mess?
Aa a black woman I tried...Lord knows I tried...but this show is TRASH! The format is like that of the Peacock show Grand Crew - they tried so hard to make an "original" black comedy show...but failed miserably!!!!

The lead character is absolutely obnoxious and the kinda of chick I know would NOT be in my circle...she is trifflin...and not the funny kind, the annoying kind. Don't waste your time.

The Old Man
(2022)

This is my new fav show!!!
Jeff Bridges, even at 73, could "get it"....he is still sexy as Hell! This character is amazing, John Lithgow is amazing, the storyline is amazing, the twists are amazing!

I am hooked on this series and look fwd to each new ep!

The Flight Attendant
(2020)

Wish s2 was as good as s1...
Cassie in s1 was annoying, but tolerable, because it was a new show and the plot is cute. S2 is awful...and now yeah, Cassie is ultra annoying. She is flustered all the time, she still messes up all the damn time, and works foe the feds? Come on...as flighty as she is, it doesn't make sense.

The Tinder Swindler
(2022)

The amount of low self esteem these women had...
Smh. I want to feel sorry for these women...I really do. But THEY have to own their own stupidity and low self worth. Come on - where was the common sense? A billionaire in the diamond business needs money? Really??????? Had enemies after him? He asks for credit cards from these women? At NO time does a billionaire not have money...ladies, please.

This was sad. Women so desperate to have a jet setting lifestyle and be loved...fall for this insane fraud. No sympathy from me. There needs to he accountability on both sides.

Beanie Mania
(2021)

These people are crazy...
Forgive me. But the women who were obsessed with this craze - all looked the same: INSANE. White, suburban moms, bored housewife types - but all mentally insane. The kind of women that get sucked into MLMs everyday and call themselves "boss babes"...

This was weird to watch.

Grand Crew
(2021)

I'll pass on this...
On the 2nd episode- and I have only laughed ONE TIME. This show isn't funny at all...not...at...all. Nicole Byer can do no wrong in my eyes (I love her on Nailed IT) but this show ain't it. Will not be watching this again.

LuLaRich
(2021)

The Jim and Tammy Faye Baker - of CLOTHES!!!
The cooky creator of LulaRoe and her wacky husband are like one of those TV evangelist couples - too much makeup and hair pieces, fake smiles, and just over-the-top.

The documentary was good! It showed both sides...people who loved the MLM and people who despised it. Sadly, these people who claim they were duped...most likely have to swallow the loss and move on with their lives. MLMs are SO shady, but people still willingly sign up for them?! So who is to blame really- the MLM, or the lonely housewife who wants to be a #bossbabe?

Infinite
(2021)

This was flat out awful...
This could've been a CW movie - cause thats the level it was at. It was THAT BAD. High tech work done in buildings the villains repeatedly just WALK INTO...guns a blazin! No security, no alarms, just stroll right in. The actors lines were really basic...and the scene where dude catches up to the airplane and lands his bike on it mid-air? The best part of this whole thing was the car chase opening scene...that's it.

I've tried to watch this all the way through 3x now...and fall asleep each time. Now, I know why.

Cat People
(2021)

I had high hopes...
...because I am a HUGE cat lover. I volunteer at 2 different cat shelters, I have helped many a stray, and am always the one there to help a cat in need!

But...

I feel like this doc focused on the "looney" side of cat lovers. The stereotypical "crazy cat" fans. Cat ears everyday? Nope. Cat raps and songs? Nope. Take your cat everywhere and - everywhere??? Nope. Is that a niche (thing)? Yeah..it is. But I feel like this series really dealt with people who were all hurt or broken...and the cats gave them a purpose. I had hoped to see just a reg ass person who likes cats...just one. Oh well...happy to see so many people just love them and are kind to them.

Minding the Gap
(2018)

I get it - but I dont...
These guys are a bunch of bums, I hate to say it, but they are. I felt their pain and the horrible home lives they had to deal with - THAT has affected them all terribly. I get it.

But...

There is absolutely NO damn excuse for them being ADULTS and avoiding growing tf up! They dont want to work, they drink and smoke, the one is abusive,, and all they want to do is skate?! In your teens - cool. As an adult who needs to accept responsibility for your life - nah, these are BUMS.

The black kid actually learned to deal with vid pain...and I respect that most. The guy making the doc really got to his pain by confronting his mom - that was heartbreaking. But the other guy...the one with the baby - BUM!

Zack Snyder's Justice League
(2021)

This redeemed DC for me...
Their movies have been so-so, with this last one (WW1984) being absolutely hot garbage! I mean serious trash!!!! This was like watching an entirely new and different movie - and I loved it. I sat all 4hrs with my attention held. Thank you Zack Snyder for this movie...well worth it.

Coming 2 America
(2021)

I wish they wouldnt have made this sequel
I have wished and hoped for a CTA2 for years...and when I heard there was a sequel, I was SO excited. But wtf - this was hot garbage! I loved that most of the org characters were back...but where were the laughs? That's all I wanted was to laugh...is that too much to ask? I barely giggled watching this. So disappointing.

Good Behavior
(2016)

This show is amazing!!
As usual...just flipping through Hulu and came across this show. The first episode alone got me hooked!! I am hooked on this, and sadly learned it is cancelled after season 2...but it is great. The chemistry between Javier and Lettey is hot.

Fatal Attractions
(2010)

I was rooting for the animals...honestly. ALL of them!
This doc was basically about stupid humans (all I suspect with some social or mental health disorders in that they were obsessed with and collected/hoarded violent animals). These wild animals, as expected, either bit them, attacked others, or mauled them to death...and I'd be lying if I said I wasnt cheering on the animals!! The deep seated ignorance of these human beings to think they had a "connection" with a wild untamed creature...made this series interesting. The law of averages states IF you live in a fantasy world where wild animals will never hurt you...you get what you deserve.

Clara
(2018)

Quality movie for a B level flic...
I'm in awe at how GOOD this movie was! Like they really put a lot of effort and thought into it - from the script, to the pacing, the scenes, and the actors themselves. I ❤ it. It really was very good. As others have stated: it is a scifi love story and both genres are melted together seamlessly.

Tales from the Loop
(2020)

I just...fell in love with every episode!
I am a scifi lover...and THIS met my needs! Yes I love Star Wars and space shows, but this was on a more personal level - an emotional one. I felt every episode...the characters pain, sadness, loss. It was deep! EP 3 (Stasis) is my fav. I honestly cannot wait for season 2 of this series.

One Night
(2012)

Very very REAL...
I dont want to be corny but this movie was really good. The depth these 2 went through in getting to know each other and build rapport and closeness - all in one night. It was amazing to watch the transition: they went from just having sex and not knowing anything about each other, to learning about each others deepest "selves" and in the end, making love. To me, that was beautiful.

In Bright Axiom
(2019)

What a bunch of weirdos...
Not sure if this was a real doc or a moc-doc, but whichever it was - it was weird. A group of "artists" who seemed like folks on the social fringe: mental issues, self esteem issues, the kind of people ONLY others like them would even bother with...cause they were all so weird and out there.

Sidney Hall
(2017)

Brought me to tears...
I love a good, deep, Indie film...and this one didnt disappoint! I was crying by the end. This movie had so many layers, that by the end, when all the layers were peeled back, you FELT the pain Sydney felt. I loved this movie.
