12 Kilometers
(2016)

Mike Pecci is very promising...
Where to begin, the movie is beautifully shot, the lighting, camera work, color grading, acting. I could totally watch a full film outta this material. Pecci delivers good & tense moments. 28 minutes of good psychological horror without relying on the genre's basic clichés. The Russian language gives the short a more grounded and serious tone all around and the actors deliver a solid work. Loved the eerie tone throughout, it's not your usual jumpscare garbage. 12KM leads you slow but steady and delivers really good tense moments. Looking forward for more of Pecci's work in the future. Send him and sms via IG.

Gods of Egypt
(2016)

Proyas gets a bad rap
As far as the cliches included it the movie it was really entertaining, the main cast is likeable and did handle the movie well. It doesn't deserve all the hate it got when it was released, I've seen far worse with way better ratings.

The Green Knight
(2021)

People just Love to Hate....
I would suggest that you watch Lowery's ''A Ghost Story'' first and then, if you liked it, watch this movie.

This one is for people who like a more character centered story and at a slow pace. Lowery's work here is thought provoking, more grounded than most of your typical Hollywood CGI filled garbage that seems to be a trend for basic minds nowadays.

I guess people that are not familiar with the Directors work went into the cinema thinking they where going to see a LOTR kind of movie. Even though it is somewhat based on King Arthur's lore, The Green Knight is a movie of it's own accord that is very well helmed by Patel's effort.

The acting from everyone here is right on spot, the cinematography is simply delightful and the story is told in the best way possible coming from what is a really short medieval anonymous poem.

Overlord
(2018)

Just a fun over the top nazi/zombie flick...
You're not gonna get the greatest action/horror WWII depiction here, but if you watch it with a mindset that this is just a Sunday fun movie and just wanna kill some time... then you're going to entirely enjoy this.

Could become a cult classic.

Love and Monsters
(2020)

Woooohaaa...
Throughout what we know has been a "bad" 2020, comes Love And Monsters to refresh and invigorate with a simple, fun and well shot feel good movie.

It may be a little cliché at times, but sometimes cliché is good and this is exactly the case with L&M's. Plus the message that it leaves after watching it leaves you at ease and energized.

Dylan deserves way more credit, because he is a really talented actor, and don't get me wrong the rest of the cast is also amazing in this one.

Just watch it and enjoy a really GOOD time with your family.

The New Mutants
(2020)

I've seen worse...
Movie is entertaining which is the main goal of any movie. Yeah it's not the best acting, plot, etc... But there's really worse movies out there.

The Invisible Man
(2020)

F%$K The Haters... This movie is awesome.
People nowadays just want cheap thrills and dumb jump scares. This movie doesn't do that, it builds the tension from the beginning and doesn't let go. The way Whannell positions his thriller is really well crafted, you do feel a clear animosity for the villain and pity/hope for Moss's character.

Leigh Whannell is getting better as his craft with every new entry.

Kingdom
(2019)

Korea is Awesome
Kingdom is one of those rare zombie gems you dont find often.

Death Stranding
(2019)
