The Queen's Gambit
(2020)

CHECK MATE!
While I am an avid chess player, you do not need to love chess in order to love this series. This is the first time I have ever given a rating a perfect 10. The cast is beyond amazing, Anya Taylor-Joy did an outstanding job. The story and writing was brilliant. The cinematography was perfection and captured every little detail for the time period. The music was perfect!

The only disappointment is that there probably will not be a season two.

Evil
(2019)

There better be a season 2!
I don't entertain easily. After randomly watching episode one, I found myself binge watching all 13 episodes over two days. This show has the perfect amount of suspense and goosebumps without being predictable. Fantastic cast, acting and writing, will be very upset if there is.not a season two.

Cobra Kai
(2018)

Awesome,
I'm a huge fan of the original movie. I found this on YouTube tv by accident and assumed it was going to be be some cheesy karate tv series. After one minute, I realized it was the original actors and where they are today. If you loved the original movie, you are sure to love this. The writers did a fantastic job at rebooting this into a tv series and it's great to see some of the original cast.

Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist
(2020)

Surprisingly Fantastic
Never saw the trailer; found it by accident on Hulu. After reading the description; I thought I'd be turning it off after 5 minutes, but I couldn't stop watching. I love musicals; but this show has it all. Great actors, great songs and storyline. While it shouldn't be taken too seriously, the storyline fills you with a great range of emotions. I'm waiting patiently for episode two!

Stumptown
(2019)

Still deciding
Decent premier.... still deciding, but watching second EP now.

Emergence
(2019)

Hooked!
First, I only give 8 stars, I'm saving my nines and tens.

I'm two episodes in, as we all are, and can't wait for the next installment. Some reviews compare this to Stranger Things, maybe a little. Anyway, so far so good, my curiosity is peaked. The acting is incredible, top notch cast. Special effects are fantastic. Story line is great, maybe we've seen stuff like this before, but we need a few more episodes to see where the writers are going. There is no political bias that I can tell so far, so that's a definite plus! No reason anyone should bash this so early in.

Great series
Great acting and characters. I don't want to give away anything, but I am reminded a little bit of the TV series Dexter, as the main character is always in some kind of trouble a miraculously escapes getting caught. Great ending with a great twist at the very end.... hoping for a second season.

The Keeping Room
(2014)

Good Surprise
Watched this without reading reviews and was pleasantly surprised. Acting is phenomenal, and the movie feels real to the 1865 era. All three lead female actresses were outstanding.

The Greatest Showman
(2017)

Blown away
My story is a little different than most. My 3 year old accidentally bought this on amazon. Didn't watch the trailers, had no idea it was even a musical. I just figured it was a story about how the circus started and began watching.

This movie was very refreshing. The music is incredible, story is amazing and acting is superb.
