NOT WORTH YOUR TIME. I have watched many of the horror genre. I have watched some of the best made Hollywood movies to the direct to DVD movies, this doesn't even rate at the bottom of that scale. This movie is extremely boring, bad acting, bad plot, overall just very hard to watch or care to pay attention to. Its not scary, no special effects...not even bad ones that you can laugh at...just nothing redeeming at all in this movie. I can usually watch the whole movie, even if its bad because I can laugh my way through how bad it is BUT on this movie, I'm sorry...it shouldn't have ever been made.

This movie wasn't expected to be good. I watched with the expectation of a poorly made zombie indi film and it was so much worse. If this is the way white girls are presented for our future, you might as well nuke the earth now because it'll never survive that amount of stupidity from humankind. I thought the new generation was not in tune with reality already but having 2 teenagers at the similar ages here as the movie...this newest generation is even worse off than I thought because from what I have seen in person and through crap like this...we are all doomed...completely doomed forever when they take over.

I like watching all kinds of the horror genre, from the worst to the best there is to offer. Its hard to keep me guessing and this movie did. There were moments as a Mom myself that I didn't think I could watch anymore because of the choices made here but watching the whole thing...the Main actress, Esme...she is a powerhouse. The choices and decisions she has to make in her and her sons life are unimaginable to have to make when you are only thinking about Survival and making it to the next day. This is a great addition to the Blumhouse collection...I have enjoyed many of the Into The Dark series. Big fan on Blumhouse so far...you're ranking up there with King people...good job.

I watch many many of the horror genre type movies, everything from the worst (bad) that horror has to offer to some of the best films created for horror. I follow almost all lore when it comes to the supernatural and its great when a movie like this plays around with old themes from other movies like Invasion of the Body Snatches and all. This is something that doesn't shove politics down your throat. This is something I won't dismiss when it comes to deciding what my whole family can watch together. It had some gore, sure, but nothing I'd be worried to show my teens and not like nudity that I'd not want to watch with my kids in the room, which is hard to find in the genre I like. I wouldn't be worried about hovering over the pause or stop button when other people enter the room because not everybody likes this genre. This was a playful and fun horror movie. All thumbs up here!

I watch a lot of the horror genre and this movie is great...it'll make you laugh for sure! I watch everything from Mystery Science Theater type movies, B rated, doesn't matter, I've seen so many, including some of the best, love zombie movies and I love most Rob Zombie type stuff. One of my earliest jobs was working in video stores and loving movies. I enjoy specific details when they are done correctly and I love when things follow legends and lore. I really like movies that can make fun of and challenge the perspective of all these movies. I have to say that I thoroughly enjoyed this movie!!
