First, it was well acted by all characters. Second, the unfolding of the drama was very well done. Third, it placed me squarely in the place of the parents in this situation. The last point was the reason I rate it so highly. I had to ask myself what I would do in the parent's place. Would I have the courage to do what is right? Regardless of intelligence, education, and accomplishments, in the midst of a fiery trial, one can lose courage and reason. A strong personality, utterly misguided, deceived and unaware of his/her error, can wreak havoc on the vulnerable (especially his /her children) and increase the damage.

Uplifting and believable without being unrealistically sentimental. Very refreshing to watch a movie that is not replete with sex, foul language, or political messages. Dani's unexpected change of heart is an encouragement to us all. Not all characters were as believable as Mr. Sorbo's. But, all the little flaws are forgivable when weighed against the many positives. Truly, nothing in the human world is perfect.

All the animals were wonderful; scenery, exquisite. The movie was worth watching for these gems alone. Kevin Sorbo did an excellent job with his character, remote, grumpy, yet most lovable.
