The Galaxy Invader
(1985)

Fight scenes defy physics
I usually get a kick out of cheesy sci-fi movies. I couldn't even find humor in this. There was very little technical quality. Many of the scenes were too dark. The background noise in the quiet outdoor scenes was distracting.

The worst thing about the movie was the staging of the fight scenes. I wonder if the actors had any contact with each other during a fight scene. Reaction times were so slow.

Each actor was at his or her own level, and these levels never changed. There was no range. Most of the delivery was either yelling or very quiet. There was no build-up. It was totally flat.

This movie was a waste of time. It was painful to watch it.

The Millionaire Matchmaker
(2008)

Disgusting
This show demonstrates what is wrong with trends in television today. Take away talent, tasteful writing, acting skills, and replace them with trash, and you have this show. The "star" of the show seeks to match millionaires with mates. One of her rules : Millionaires should flash their wealth. This show has no redeeming value. It is not even good to watch for any amusement.

On one episode, the matchmaker visited the home of one of her client millionaires. Although the home was decent and clean, she didn't think it displayed his wealth enough. She talked about the home as if it were a piece of trash, topping it off with something like, "I think I smell a vagrant passing by."

My Name Is Barbra
(1965)

Fantastic
Barbra Streisand's first television special was simply fantastic! From her skit as a child to her medley of songs in a high-fashion department store -- everything was top-notch! It was easy to understand how this special received awards.

Not muddled down by guest appearances, the focus remained on Barbra thoughout the entire production.

It Happened on Fifth Avenue
(1947)

Christmas Classic
This touching movie is truly a Christmas classic. Gale Storm gives her usual great performance. It is very entertaining, touching, and gets you in the Christmas spirit. I wish this movie were played on television every Christmas.

The NBC Comedy Hour
(1956)

Outstanding!
Gale Storm's wonderful singing added spark and vitality to the show.

The Gale Storm Show: Oh! Susanna
(1956)

The best comedy series of all time!
Gale Storm is well-known for her "My Little Margie" series, but she even topped that with her performances in "The Gale Storm Show (Oh Susanna)." "The Gale Storm Show" featured her beautiful singing voice in many of the episodes, and her suppor ting cast was fantastic!
