Host Andy Cohen promises that this reincarnation of the old dating show will be "more shocking than ever", but it follows the formula of the original show.
Singles are sent on three dates. Cohen then interviews the singles and their dates, to discover if a real love connection has been made. The emphasis is on comedy, with both successful connections and missed connections being mined for their humorous content. In the end, the single contestant must choose one of the three for a paid overnight date.
The studio audience votes regarding which of the dates they prefer for the contestant--after watching profiles but before the dates are actually shown. The twist in this newest version of the show is that the contestant gets $10,000 if he/she chooses the dater the audience selected. It can get interesting if the contestant has to choose between his/her original choice and the $10,000.
