Benji, Manny, and Jeff are best friends in a small American town where everybody knows everybody. Roland from Scotland is the new kid. His great grandfather was the last knight in his family and claims to have descended from Robert the Bruce. The boys become fast friends dealing with the bullies. Roland suggests becoming knights to fight for justice.

There is an old timey quality to this story. I wouldn't mind setting this back in the 80's. It should be a time before cell phones and the internet. It's a kid's movie. The kids are basically kids. I don't know if anyone is going to be a star. The movie's heart is mostly in the right place.
  • Benji the Dove lives in a small town neighborhood where nothing ever changes. Even in 2018 he and his friends ride around on bicycles in the middle of the Main Street, unaware of the dangers that exist in the real world. Into their midst comes a young Scottish boy who hails not only from the country but from the philosophy of ancient Scottish knighthood - nobility, justice, and ethics. Bringing the thoughtfulness of the knight's philosophy into the 21st century is a great idea and boys learn lessons way beyond iPhones or game boxes. Really enjoyed this. Including a young Gerald Jones (Benji) and his Scottish friend Roland (Steven Braunstein).
