Siblings Chris, Todd, Cydney and Wesley travel to their childhood home in Washington to celebrate Christmas holidays with their parents Bryan and Sylvia. Upon their arrival, all kinds of family drama, a crazy neighbor and conflicts happen.

Todd and Ryan are preparing for their engagement party, but Ryan feels uneasy about her mother's overbearing tendencies. She knows how much her wedding means to her mom, but she wants to do things her way. Todd has been here before, so he wants Ryan to have what she wants. They have the party with a bit of interference from her Mom, but the biggest shock is that unbeknownst to Ryan, Jannelle hasn't signed the divorce papers and doesn't plan on it. Jannelle shows up at the party to profess her love for Todd and this sends Ryan over the edge. Todd is up in arms with Jannelle and gets Dennis involved immediately to speed up the divorce. Todd waits for Ryan to return home and then tells her how much he loves her. He apologizes for not telling her about the divorce but tells her that he will do everything in his power to make sure their wedding happens. Cydney's music career is picking up and she's been invited to go on tour with her idol, but now that her relationship with Dennis has become serious, she wants to make sure he's comfortable. When he decides that traveling for months doesn't work for his career, Cydney may have to make a hard choice. Chris and Trina haven't quite gotten used to the new baby, but with the twins returning home from college, they might get a little break. The friction between Sylvia and Ryan's mother grows as she continues to change things that are important to Ryan and Todd, but with Glo's help, Sylvia is going to make sure Ryan gets the wedding she deserves. The family is full of chaos, life experiences and a lot of love.
