Set to hit theaters in Los Angeles and New York tomorrow is Orson Oblowitz’s home invasion thriller Trespassers, which stars Angela Trimbur and Fairuza Balk (two of this writer’s favorite actresses), as well as Zach Avery, Janel Parrish,g and Jonathan Howard. The story follows two couples who Airbnb a house in the middle of the desert for a weekend to try to work out their respective issues, but things go horribly awry once they find themselves in a fight for their lives.

Daily Dead recently chatted with Trespassers director Orson Oblowitz about his initial interest in taking on the project, as well as the casting process, the challenges of creating the film’s visual style, how working on the project transformed him as an artist, and more.

Corey Feldman donned a dodgy disguise as he attempted to interview stars at The Ganzfeld Haunting premiere in Los Angeles last night (February 6).

The 42-year-old Stand by Me star wore a fake moustache, poorly stuck-on sideburns and a feathered wig as he arrived for the screening for FIlmOn.TV, an internet-based television channel founded by The Bank Job actor Alki David.

The actor also sported an ill-fitting suit along with gold sunglasses and a prosthetic nose as he waited to interview the film's stars, including Billy Zane and Rumer Willis.

Sadly for Feldman, both Willis and Zane failed to appear, so he ended up speaking with members of the crowd gathered outside the cinema.

The Ganzfeld Haunting tells the story of five college psychology students who participate in a paranormal investigation only to unearth grisly murders from the past.

When we last heard about The Ganzfeld Haunting, it was April of last year, and it was still called The Ganzfeld Experiment. But with the new year has come a new title and some early screening news. If you're in or around La, you have a chance to see it soon.

The sexy model turned actress Lydia Hearst is the latest to sign up for Kaare Andrews' ('Altitude') 'Cabin Fever: Patient Zero'. The flick which is set to kick off shooting next month over in the Dominican Republic will be filmed back to back alongside its follow-up 'Cabin Fever: Outbreak'. The 27-year old Hearst (below), who has also appeared in popular mens magazine Playboy joins Sean Astin ('The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers'), Brano Eaton, Jillian Murray ('The Graves'), Ryan Donowho ('The Ganzfeld Experiment') and Mitch Ryan and is said to be playing a 'wide-eyed research grad student'. Dominic Purcell has been recruited for the war in Heaven (and below, and beyond) as he joins the cast of director Alex Proyas' "Paradise Lost," according to Heat Vision.

The hulking actor, probably best known for his role as Lincoln Burrows on "Prison Break," will be playing the role of Jerahmeel, an angel who falls in with Lucifer (Bradley Cooper) and ultimately becomes the Fallen One's trusted lieutenant and confidante as the renamed Moloch.

Can we just say "perfect casting?"

Purcell joins an ever-growing cast that includes Casey Affleck (Gabriel), Djimon Hounsou (Abdiel), Benjamin Walker (Michael) and Callan McAuliffe (Uriel). Diego Boneta and Camilla Belle are currently the front-runners to play first-ever humans and Garden of Eden outcasts, Adam and Eve, and word hath it that Proyas' "Dark City" star, Rufus Sewell, will be playing a role as well.

Ray Liotta has just signed on for Cianfrance's “Deer Hunter meets The Godfather” crime drama, joining Ryan Gosling, Bradley Cooper, Eva Mendes, Greta Gerwig and Ben Mendelsohn. Liotta will be playing a corrupt police officer. The Place Beyond the Pines centers around a pro motorcycle rider-turned-bank robber (Gosling) and a cop (Cooper) who cross paths, setting off a multi-generational feud. Mendes will be Gosling's love interest, while Gerwig is considering the role of Cooper's wife. Mendelsohn is in negotiations [2] to play a mechanic who brings Gosling's charcter into the world of bank robbery. Shooting for the film is set to begin late next month in Schenectady, NY. Scout Taylor Compton and Cody Longo were also attached and Josh Pence, who’s currently shooting The Dark Knight Rises, is in negotiations as one of the leads, while Modern Family topliner Reid Ewing is set to make a cameo.

The Silent Thief is a scary story of Brennan Marley, an outsider who pressures to destroy a family’s unity by steadily displacing their absent son, Mike Henderson. Starving for acceptance and exceptionally sly, Brennan rents a room from the Henderson family under false fronts. He uses his conciliatory skills to ingratiate himself with each particular family member before Mike returns from college. As Brennan’s tactic becomes progressively destructive, psyches and driven to the breaking point and violence results.
