- SG-1 is caught in the middle of a war after the Jaffa use a powerful weapon to kill 10,000 Ori followers.
- On a planet where thousands were embracing the faith of Origin, a single wave of energy -destroying only living tissue- kills them all and the Prior. General Landry hears from Master Bra'tac, who is out of favor with the new leadership, and then its chief Se'tak, that it was ordered by the Jaffa council which intends to stop the Ori at all cost, using the ancient weapon from Dakara which successfully eliminated the Replicators. Teal'c and Mitchell on the empty Ori ship are captured by certain members of Bo'rel's armed Free Jaffa force; Daniel and Vala too, but their Jaffa captors fall prey in turn to Vala's evil Ori-daughter Adria, the sole survivor from the force wave. Against Landry's advice Se'tak orders to use the weapon at full power, which should destroy the planet and all ships around it, from which the Odyssey can evacuate the SG-1 members using the rings just in time, but it has no effect on the Ori ship, which in turn fires on the weapon on Dakara...—KGF Vissers
- Vala's daughter Adria is now an adult woman and is leading the Ori in a series of victories across the galaxy. On one conquered planet, an unknown force emanating from their stargate has destroyed every living creature there. Teal'c believes he knows exactly who is responsible - the Free Jaffa who are using the weapon found on Dakara. The attack does give SG-1 the opportunity to examine an Ori ship that was on the ground when the force struck. Adria is soon in charge however. While General Landry tries to convince the Jaffa leaders to abandon their strategy, Adria sets a course for Dakara.—garykmcd

Soon they witness that all the people including the Prior and the Ori warriors have been destroyed. Soon Sam and Teal'c conclude that the Jaffa may have used the Ancient superweapon kept in Dakara. The SG-1 decides to inspect the Ori warship but they stumble upon Jaffa warriors. Out of the blue, Adria comes to the room where Vala and Daniel are and shows her evil power. Meanwhile Gen. Landry goes with Bra'tac to meet the new Jaffa leader Se'tak and discuss the genocide of the humans.—Claudio Carvalho, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
