Spider-Man goes to Dr. Connors to examine his symbiote costume and Conners tells him that the symbiote wants to bond and take over it's host and tells Spider-Man to get it off. In the comics, Spider-Man went to Mr. Fantastic/Reed Richards who said the same thing and removed the suit for the first time in "The Amazing Spider-Man" (Vol. 1) #258.

Goofs
When Spider-Man is fighting Shocker and Smythe, after he breaks into the Kingpin's lair. Towards the end of the fight after he grabs Promethium X, Shocker attempts to blast him, Spider-Man jumps out of harms way, but as he jumps off-screen he is then seen at the doorway running out. However, Spidey didn't jump but walked, and he is already at the door when Shocker blasts.
