Featured review
KID SISTER is improvised porn, several characters in search of an author. Pirandello might have been inspired by its ineptness to pen a satirical riposte.
Fortunately for Luigi the feature-length stag film had not yet been invented by the time he flew the coop in 1936. Current porn hounds can check out this clunker on Vol. 158 of Something Weird's Dragon Art Theatre series.
Fran Spector stars as Fran, a girl who's just moved to L.A. from "back East" as she keeps reminding us. That's the extent of her characterization, as this film (alternately named FRAN'S FRENZY) is strictly about "let's get to the sex", whatever the situation.
(Coincidentally, I've watched four of Fran's porn films over the past few weeks and she is a distinctive personality who deserved a better career.) Her building neighbor Kim (Kim Dupont) offers to help her get a job as a typist at her company. In the meantime, Fran hears the neighbors humping through the thin walls, and visits them in an effort to cut down on the noise, but is oh-so-easily seduced into a threesome by porn pioneer Judy Angel (wearing an incredibly fake black wig) and her blond boy friend, Orrin North -sort of XXX's answer to Brad Pitt.
Next morning she's "interviewed" by Jane from the office (Fifi Watson, the title star immortalized in MONA), who immediately seduces her, while Kim services the boss, Mr. Spencer. Later, Kim joins the gals for a lesbian three-way.
Kim invites Fran to her older sister's pad, where her brother-in-law is ready to hump anybody in sight. Supposedly Kim is still a virgin, and film ends with a mini-orgy, Fran concluding "Sure would like to do that again".
Throughout this farrago the cast is without a clue, stumbling over their lines and having great difficulty ad libbing anything remotely interesting. It's generic porn, mixing and matching a collection of performers until nearly an hour of usable footage results. There are no ejaculations, either an oversight or evidence of an incomplete print.
