The Varmint
Bob and Bill -- their dog Rags is uncredited in this cutdown version -- go after a coyote in this one, and they mean it: there's a thorough tutorial on how to set up a drag trap, in case your herd of cattle is suffering from prairie wolf attacks, and both boys go armed with light rifles and those looped-wire-on-a-stick gizmos that animal control professionals still use. There are no adults around for the youngsters to interact with, although since this version was four minutes, and the earlier ones three times as long, one or more might have been present.
Neither of the boys is a particularly good actor; their pantomime is very broad. Still, this one doesn't require much in the way of acting at this length.
