Abdurrahman Shala was born on 25 October 1925 in Vucitrn, Serbia, Yugoslavia. He was an actor and producer, known for The Dervish and Death (1974), Prva ljubav (1970) and Mount of Lament (1968). He died on 9 March 1994 in Pristina, Serbia, Federal Republic of Yugoslavia.

Faruk Begolli was the most famous Kosovo Albanian actor and director in Yugoslavia (along with Bekim Fehmiu). He attended high school in Pristina and completed the academy of film in Belgrade (1966). Begolli played in more than 60 films, starting with Veljko Bulajic's Pogled u zenicu Sunca (1966). He cooperated with director Purisa Dordevic in his films Podne (Noon), Jutro (The Morning), and San (The Dream), and his notable roles include Bitka na Neretvi, Cuvar plaze u zimskom periodu and Dervis i Smrt (The Dervish and Death). In the late 1980s, Begolli returned from Belgrade to Kosovo, where he worked at the University of Pristina as a professor at the Faculty of Drama. His last lead role was in Ekrem Kryeziu's Dashuria e Bjeshkeve te Nemuna (Love in the Damned Mountain), and his last piece was Etjet e Kosoves (Kosovo: Desperate Search), where he was also a co-scenarist. He died in 2007, after a long battle with cancer.

Rexho Muliqi was born on 18 March 1923 in Gusinje, Montenegro, Yugoslavia. He was a composer, known for Obracun (1962), Captain Lechi (1960) and Uka i Bjeshkëve të nemura (1968). He was married to Nexhmije Pagarusha. He died on 11 February 1982 in Pristina, Kosovo, Yugoslavia.

Rudolf Sopi has been working in films since the 1970s. A director of photography, Sopi is remembered for his work in the 1970s at Televizija Beograd-Albanian program and TV Prishtina, where he photographed many of the studio's films including Te ngujuarit (1971), Por (1974), Era e Lisi (1978), among others. He won an Award for Pike e gure (1978) - Beograd Festival of short and documentary films. His last film was Tre vete kapercejne malin (1981).

Gjeto Leka was born in 1922 in Tuzi, Montenegro, Yugoslavia [now Montenegro]. He was a writer, known for Tito në Kosovë (1975), Prizreni (1966) and Pasqyra televizive (1966). He died in 1988 in Pristina, Kosovo, Yugoslavia [now Kosovo].
