She was the BBC Correspondent in Islamabad from 1989 to 1993, also reporting from Afghanistan and Iran. In 1994 she opened the BBC office in Amman, Jordan. From 1995 to 1999 she was based in Jerusalem, traveling across the Middle East. In 1999, she joined the BBC's team of presenters but continues to report from the field.
Lyse is often deployed to anchor significant news events from the field, and to interview key players. She played a leading role in the BBC's coverage of the "Arab spring", reporting from Tunisia, Egypt and Libya. She has covered all major wars in the Middle East since the mid 1990s. Lyse has been a frequent visitor to Pakistan and Afghanistan since the late 1980s. Her work also focuses on the aftermath of major natural disasters, including the Indian Ocean tsunami in 2004 which took her to India and Indonesia.
Her first overseas experience was with Canadian Crossroads International, when she volunteered in Cote d'Ivoire in 1982. She is now one of its honorary patrons. Doucet has been a Council Member of the Royal Institute of International Affairs (Chatham House) and is a Council Member of the International Council for Human Rights Policy (ICHRP) based in Geneva. Dan Pelchat was born on 17 December 1972 in Bathurst, New Brunswick, Canada. He is an actor, known for Skyscraper (2018), The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1 (2011) and The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2 (2012).- Born in Canada, Sam De Grasse entered films in 1912 and specialized in playing thoroughly disreputable, nasty, slimy bad guys. Douglas Fairbanks was so impressed with De Grasse's villainy that he used the actor in several of his more memorable productions. He wasn't the only member of the De Grasse family in films, though. His brother Joseph De Grasse was an actor and director, and his nephew Robert De Grasse was a cinematographer.

Joseph Louis DeGrasse (May 4, 1873 - May 25, 1940) was born into a French Canadian family. He is the son of Lange DeGrasse and Ellen Comeaux of Bathurst, New Brunswick. Joseph is the older brother of actor Samuel DeGrasse. There were 11 siblings. Joe immigrated to the USA around 1880 as a young child. Joseph began his career as a journalist, but soon became enamored of the theater and took work as a stage actor. Joe DeGrasse met and married actress, Ida May Park (1879-1954). By 1910, he and Ida were acting in motion pictures in Burbank, California. Joe eventually appeared as an actor in 13 films, and wrote 2 screenplays, his real interest was in directing. Ida also became one of the few female directors working at the time. In 1915, Joe became a founding member of the Motion Picture Directors Association, a forerunner to the Director's Guild of America. During a career spanning from 1910 to 1935 he directed a total of 86 films, as well as writing and producing. Joseph DeGrasse died in Eagle Rock, California. Family lore contends that there is a link between the DeGrasse brothers and French Admiral and US Revolutionary War hero, François-Joseph Paul, marquis de Grasse Tilly, comte de Grasse, 13 September 1722.- Actress

He joined the RAAF as an Engineering Apprentice in 1967 and spent three years under training at RAAF Wagga.
He was an Australian rugby league footballer and coach. He played 40 Tests and World Cup games as Australia representative halfback and captained his country in two Tests of the 1973 Kangaroo tour.
Raudonikis is a long-term friend of 2GB radio station owner John Singleton. Through this friendship, he also participated as a commentator for the Continuous Call Team with Ray Hadley on 2GB.
Raudonikis' hospitalization in August 2006 for a heart bypass operation made Australian sports news and drew messages of support from a spectrum of famous former players including Wests icons Arthur Summons (the subject of the NRL trophy with Norm Provan).
Raudonikis made an appearance in the 2007 rugby league drama film The Final Winter.
Raudonikis at one stage worked as a part of the Channel 9 rugby league commentary team.
In February 2008, Raudonikis was named in the list of Australia's 100 Greatest Players (1908-2007) which was commissioned by the NRL and ARL to celebrate the code's centenary year in Australia. Also in 2008 the Western Suburbs Magpies celebrated their centenary by inducting six inaugural members, including Raudonikis, into the club's Hall of Fame.
