• I was nervous seeing a lot of reviews under 5 stars, but I was so interested by the concept I decided to watch any and I was pleasantly surprised. I ended up watching the whole seasoning one night.

It's not an incredibly smart comedy with a laugh every minute but I had a lot of fun watching it. I didn't love the league and stopped watching after season 1, but it seems like a lot of the reviews held their expectation to that because of the creators.

Sometimes the writing is confusing or feels jumbled, but the plot is so easy to follow you can usually figure it out. The cast dynamic really makes up for it. The character Adam felt unbearable in the first two episodes but by episode 3 the others start to undercut/stand up to him and balance it out.

I think this show had a rocky but redeemable first season, and if it gets renewed I hope the writers will listen to feedback because the concept has so much potential.
