Aubrey Cleland was born on July 10, 1993 in West Linn, Oregon to Thane and Renee Cleland. The eldest of two children, Aubrey's mother Renee has been a professional singer and was the first African-American Miss Oregon winner. She graduated from Jesuit High School in 2011 and wanted to be a veterinarian, but moved to California to attended Chapman University and decided to pursue her dream of being a singer.
