The Amazon Kids+ and Prime Video live-action CGI series Dino Dex, from Sinking Ship Entertainment, has revealed first-look images in advance of the launch on October 20th. The new kids series comes from the Emmy Award-winning Dino franchise.

Dino Dex follows 9-year-old Dex, who, with his neighbor Kayla, go on hilariously fun explorations to study dinosaurs. Dino Dex is packed with awesome adventures and new educational experiences in each episode, with a little touch of magic.

The biggest and boldest installment yet in the popular Dino series, Dino Dex will debut with nine episodes on October 20th and follow with an additional 17 in 2025.

The ensemble cast includes Juan Pablo Romero playing Dex, Ana Victoria Dinapo as Kayla, Michela Luci as Dana, Nicola Damude as Mom, Amish Patel as Dad, and Jason Spevack as Dan.

Sinking Ship Entertainment’s Dino Dex, the latest in the Canadian producer’s live-action hybrid TV franchise, is getting a special press and industry screening at the Toronto Film Festival, ahead of Amazon Kids+ and Prime Video debuting the series on Oct. 20, 2024.

Series creator and director J.J. Johnson will hold a post-screening Q&a on Sept. 12 with members of the cast, which includes Juan Pablo Romero playing Dex and Ana Victoria Dinapo as Kayla. The special screening in Toronto comes as TIFF gets deeper into TV series premieres with its expanding Primetime sidebar this year, and ahead of the festival launching an official content market in 2026.

The Muppets Mayhem is having their big break cut short. Per Deadline, Disney+ has cancelled the musical comedy series after one season of ten episodes. Based on Jim Henson's characters, Adam F. Goldberg co-created the series with Bill Barretta and Jeff Yorkes.

Starring Lilly Singh, Tahj Mowry, and Saara Chaudry, the series follows Electric Mayhem as they work on their first album. The band was brought to life by Barretta, Eric Jacobson, Matt Vogel, David Rudman, Dave Goelz, and Peter Linz.

The Muppets Mayhem may be history on Disney+, but co-creator Adam F. Goldberg is not ready to say goodbye to his furry friends.

After it was revealed that the live-action series was getting the boot after one season, Goldberg gave an update on X about his future with the Muppets.

“Huge thanks to the critic & fan love that got us 6 Emmy noms and a #1 Billboard album,” he wrote. “Mayhem was truly the most joyful and collaborative experience of my career. From day one all I’ve cared about is creating a Muppet-verse and Yes I am already cooking up more Muppets with @billbarretta & @JeffYorkes! It’s Happening.”

There won’t be an encore for The Muppets Mayhem at Disney+.

The streamer has canceled the music-infused comedy, which centered on members of the Muppets house band, Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayhem. The show lasted just one season; all 10 episodes debuted in May.

As is usually the case with streaming series, Disney did not disclose any viewing information for The Muppets Mayhem. The series has not charted on Nielsen’s top 10 streaming rankings.

Lilly Singh headed the show’s human cast as a young music executive helping the Electric Mayhem record their first studio album. Tahj Mowry, Saara Chaudry and Anders Holm also starred, along with Muppets performers Matt Vogel, Bill Barretta, Peter Linz, Dave Goelz, David Rudman and Eric Jacobson.

Disney+ is cutting Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayhem’s comeback tour short, cancelling The Muppets Mayhem after one season, TVLine has learned.

“What a long, strange trip it’s been!” co-creator and executive producer Jeff Yorkes wrote on social media shortly after news of the show’s cancellation broke. “The highs (thanks Zoot!), the lows… A huge thank you to our loyal fans and viewers. I hope audiences continue to discover our little show and that it brings them some joy… and some Mayhem!! Rock on!!”

“The Muppets Mayhem” has been canceled after just one season at Disney+, Variety has learned.

The series was originally ordered at Disney+ in early 2022 and debuted on the streamer in May 2023. The cast of the series included Lily Singh, Tahj Mowry, Saara Chaudry, and Anders Holm.

The Electric Mayhem Band is breaking up after Disney+ canceled its latest Muppets show.

The streamer has axed live-action series The Muppets Mayhem, which comes from The Goldbergs creator Adam F. Goldberg, after one season.

The ten-part series was released in May but Disney+ never disclosed any ratings for the show.

The cancellation marks a blow for plans for a wider Muppetverse; Goldberg previously expressed interest in branching out using the classic IP, which includes some of Disney’s most recognizable characters.

It is the latest cancelation at Disney+ this year; other shows to have been axed include The Spiderwick Chronicles, which has since been shopped to Roku, National Treasure, Doogie Kamealoha, M.D., Willow, Big Shot and Mighty Ducks: Game Changers.

Asian Heritage Month vibe is rubbing off Saara Chaudry, who was all praises for her “The Muppets Mayhem” co-star Lilly Singh.

Speaking to Et Canada, Chaudry credits Singh for breaking down “barriers” for brown girls in Hollywood.

The two Canadian actors share the spotlight in the new star-studded Disney+ series “The Muppets Mayhem” alongside Tahj Mowry, and the trio recently sat down for a conversation with Et Canada’s Jed Tavernier to discuss the exciting new project.

“It was really meant to be that two brown girls from Toronto ended up in L.A. shooting a show with these iconic characters on a Disney Plus show. I just think it’s it’s a super special feeling,” says Chaudry of herself and her costar Singh.

Singh plays the lead character on the series, A&r executive Nora, who tries to help the all-muppet group Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayhem record their first-ever platinum album.

“The Muppets Mayhem,” the first streaming series devoted to Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayhem, the most iconic band in the Muppet universe, is finally here. All episodes are streaming on Disney+ right now and, appropriately, they rock. And TheWrap spoke to the Muppet-y stars of the show, which you can watch above.

When TheWrap asked the Electric Mayhem what other bands could benefit by having their singular energy on tour, we got some surprising answers. “I think that Animal could sit in with any band,” Floyd proclaimed, while Animal chimed in: “Harry! Harry!” Janice said that, “Taylor Swift and I would have a totally amazing time together,” which we imagine would be true. And Dr. Teeth noted that, “I’d posolutely love to accompany The Weeknd.” Can you imagine?

The two-and-a-half minute trailer kicks off showing the band rocking out large crowds across the nation, but there’s one problem: “The Muppets Mayhem” have yet to release an album over the last 45 years.

Apple TV+ has released first-look images of its upcoming limited series “The Crowded Room,” which stars Tom Holland, Amanda Seyfried and Emmy Rossum.

The 10-episode thriller series will premiere with its first three episodes on June 9. The remaining seven episodes will then air one episode per week, concluding on Friday, July 28.

Disney+ is teasing the arrival of a new Muppets series with a trailer for The Muppets Mayhem which is set to premiere with all episodes on Wednesday, May 10. The Disney+ original stars Lilly Singh, Tahj Mowry, Saara Chaudry, and The Electric Mayhem Band and is produced by ABC Signature and The Muppets Studio. The upcoming series follows The Electric Mayhem Band, which is made up of Dr. Teeth on vocals and keyboards, Animal on drums, Floyd Pepper on vocals and bass, Janice on vocals and lead guitar, Zoot on saxophone, and Lips on trumpet. Disney+ will revisit the Muppets franchise next month.

The streaming service announced today that the highly anticipated original series The Muppets Mayhem is set to premiere on Wednesday, May 10.

Instead of the weekly release adopted by other series on Disney+, The Muppets Mayhem will launch with all episodes on the date.

The Muppeys Mayhem follows The Electric Mayhem Band — Dr. Teeth on vocals and keyboards, Animal on drums, Floyd Pepper on vocals and bass, Janice on vocals and lead guitar, Zoot on saxophone and Lips on trumpet — on an epic, music-filled journey to record their first-ever studio album.

The entire first season of The Muppets Mayhem, a mockumentary about Dr. Teeth and his legendary bandmates, will be available to stream on Wednesday, May 10, TVLine has learned.

“The Muppets Mayhem,” the latest series based on the beloved characters created by Jim Henson, will premiere all episodes on Disney+ on Wednesday, May 10, Disney announced on Tuesday.

It focuses on The Electric Mayhem Band, led by Dr. Teeth and manic drummer animal, as they try to record their first-ever studio album with the help of a driven young music executive, Nora Singh (Lilly Singh).

Adam F. Goldberg of “The Goldbergs” developed, wrote and executive produces with Bill Barretta of “The Muppets” and “Muppets Haunted Mansion,” and co-executive producer Jeff Yorkes. Watch the first teaser trailer below.

Thanks to Disney+, the Muppets are returning with an all-new show called "The Muppets Mayhem." This time, we're following the Muppets' resident rock stars Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayhem as they embark on an adventure to record their very first album. But just like any other Muppets production, this series from Adam F. Goldberg, Jeff Yorkes, and veteran Muppets performer Bill Barretta will feature a number of cameos from various celebrities and musicians.

Though the producers were extremely tight-lipped about the cameos in the series, Goldberg did let a big one slide during their panel at New York Comic Con. While he and Yorkes explained that the show is more grounded in the real world (meaning there's no talking vegetables or a fork in the road), they mentioned a "surreal side to Zoot," the saxophone player in the band. It would be a fourth-wall-breaking moment that still "plays in the reality within the world.

Raised in the era of likes, shares, and the idea that “if it wasn’t posted, it didn’t happen,” Hannah translated her e-acumen and talent for enthusiastic and aspirational make-up videos into a burgeoning social media empire, complete with a legion of “Fan-a-Hannahs.” Her success has unfortunately upended her dynamic with Nora.
