The View host, Alyssa Farah Griffin is quick to assert her stance on certain topics. Admittedly, she is in a weird place, for actively not supporting the current Republican presidential nominee. Is Alyssa strategically attempting to fool viewers? Is there something else behind her actions?
Alyssa Farah Griffin Confuses Some Viewers
Undeniably, The View is in a frenzy with the current politics brewing in America. For instance, fans want Sunny Hostin and Sara Haines to “play” nicer during this heightened time. Recently, Alyssa Farah Griffin has said she believes the selection will come down to “which candidate is seen as the agent of change.” Surprisingly, she is strongly “anti-Trump-Vance” even though she is a staunch Republican. Previously, she was on Trump’s team as press secretary for U.S. Vice President Mike Pence. However, even though Alyssa is showing up more and more on TV voicing her opinion, fans...

Joy Behar, alongside Brian Teta, The View’s executive producer, announced a significant change to the show this year, but not everyone is happy about it.
As Monsters and Critics have reported, things are getting tense on The View between the cohosts as the election nears, and not everyone is getting along.
Most ladies look forward to the annual Halloween episode, during which everyone, even the audience, dresses up.
These shows are pre-taped, and since the upcoming election remains close, some feel it is too vital to miss any live-action news during the host chat on The View.
Brian Teta announced that no hosts will dress up this year because they do not want a prerecorded show ahead of the November presidential election.
Joy Behar is admittedly not a fan of dressing up on the show and called it “annoying,” but fans are speaking out because they will miss the fun traditions.

The United States Presidential election is coming up, which means many daily talk shows are getting a little testy. This is no more evident than on The View. The show already had contrasting political beliefs, but Sunny Hostin and Sara Haines have been getting problematic lately.
Many fans have spoken up and want the hosts to play nice because the in-fighting is not enjoyable. Here is what you need to know.
Sunny Hostin & Sara Haines Battling On The View
It seems the biggest arguments are between Sunny Hostin and Sara Haines. This is a slight surprise to some, as Alyssa Farah Griffin is the lone Republican among the Democrats on the show. While she has some problems with Sunny at times, it seems to be the feud between Sunny and Sara that has lit things up on the show.

The “Hot Topics” got particularly fiery during Friday’s (October 11) edition of The View. The quintet of cohosts — this time, Joy Behar, Sara Haines, Ana Navarro, Sunny Hostin, and Alyssa Farah Griffin — chose to start the day out by discussing former President Barack Obama‘s recent speech during a campaign rally for Kamala Harris in which he delivered several major digs at Donald Trump. For Behar, the chat started as lively enough as she described herself as doing “a happy dance” while watching Obama’s rally and all the “shade.” From there, the conversation got a bit more serious and substantial as Griffin got into the details of what demographics she thinks Harris needs to shore up to win in November, and Hostin weighed in with her take on the same matter. Then, Navarro compared Obama’s speech to the Harris campaign “releasing the Kraken” and praised his cadence and comedic timing as “incredibly effective.

The hosts of The View wasted no time in responding to Donald Trump‘s latest comments about them. On Thursday’s (October 10) episode, the quintet — Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Sara Haines, Sunny Hostin, and Alyssa Farah Griffin — walked out to the tune of Christina Aguilera’s “Dirrty” for a very specific reason. Goldberg immediately took the liberty of explaining that song choice by saying, “It’s one of the words that You Know Who used when he was talking about me in particular.” She was referencing Trump’s comments at a Pennsylvania rally on Wednesday in which he claimed he’d hired Goldberg to perform stand-up comedy, but her routine was “filthy, dirty, disgusting.” He’d previously referred to the cohosts of The View as “dumb women on the show” after they hosted Kamala Harris earlier in the week. “As it turns out, I was filthy and stand on that,...

Kamala Harris joined The View on Tuesday (October 8) for her first live interview since becoming the Democratic nominee for president in the 2024 election, and the first “Hot Topic” of discussion is the moment she found out that Joe Biden was passing the torch to her. After a prompt by moderator Whoopi Goldberg, Harris agreed to “set the scene” for that consequential call. Harris then revealed that she was, at the time, taking care of her great-nieces (the daughters of Meena Harris and Nikolas Ajagu and granddaughters of Harris’s sister Maya Harris). The trio watched cooking shows together while she worked out, made them breakfast, and worked on a puzzle with them, and that’s when “the phone rings.” “I said, ‘Auntie will be right back,’ and it was the president. Joy Behar celebrated her 82nd birthday on “The View” on Friday — a few days early, since her actual birthday is on Oct. 7 and she’s not on the show on Mondays — and Nathan Lane got her a pretty scandalous present. Yes, the Broadway legend delivered a pizza for the host — sorry, a pizza man stripper.
As always, Behar jokingly referred to Lane as her first husband when bringing him out on stage, as the two go way back. So, given that history, Ana Navarro made sure to double check with Lane at the end of his interview that he didn’t actually come to the show empty-handed during Behar’s birthday celebration.
“No I did not! Because Joy is still a hot Italian woman, I have ordered Joy a hot Italian pizza,” he confirmed.
At that, the stage doors opened to indeed reveal a pizza delivery man, who strutted onto the stage.

Donald Trump has long bragged about getting Roe v. Wade overturned, but his wife Melania Trump is now speaking out about how “there is no room for compromise” when it comes to the “individual freedom” of women. And “The View” host Sunny Hostin thinks it’s definitely a strategic move.
“Without a doubt, there is no room for compromise when it comes to this essential right that all women possess from birth: individual freedom,” Melania said in a new video posted on Wednesday. “What does my body, my choice really mean?”
During Thursday’s episode of the ABC talk show, the hosts were a bit stunned, not only that the former first lady publicly supported these rights, but also that they agreed with her.
That said, host Joy Behar thinks it’s another lie from the Trump team, while Alyssa Farah Griffin suspects it’s a play for Republicans and...

As Melania Trump works to sell her new memoir, the cohosts of The View aren’t buying. On Thursday’s (October 3) edition of the talk show, the cohosts discussed the latest headline-making excerpt from the former first lady’s book, in which she declared her defense of reproductive rights for women as “essential” and a “fundamental principle.” Sara Haines offered the first (and least cynical) take on the stance, saying she “100%” agreed with what Trump said but argued that it might backfire on her husband’s campaign for those “single-issue voters” who show up to the polls solely to oppose abortion rights measures and candidates. Joy Behar had a different read entirely, noting that reproductive rights are hugely popular among most Americans, which the Republicans do know. “I think they put her up to this. I think it’s a big scam,” she argued. “They put her out there as...

What Would You Do? is returning for its 17th season. As seen in the trailer, John Quiñones is back as the series’ host. Sara Haines also returns as a correspondent as the two travel around the country for the show.
Quiñones Certainly Knows How To Make An Entrance
The series is something of a social experiment, collecting the reactions of strangers as they come across some sort of conflict in public. Not realizing the whole thing is staged, their reactions are then caught on camera. The series originally appeared on ABC’s Primetime before getting its own first season.
The trailer shows host John Quiñones making all sorts of entrances, even appearing out of limousines and helicopters, before he asks people caught on camera the show’s title question. This season, experiments have been filmed in Colorado, New Jersey, Nevada, and New York.

Melania and Donald Trump are back with new merch, this time with the First Lady selling a $600 gold “Vote Freedom” necklace. But “The View” host Joy Behar thinks that necklace might actually be a signal from Melania, begging people to “save me.”
To kick off the ABC talk show on Friday, the women once again mocked Melania Trump’s recent interview with Fox News, in which she said that the economy is worse under President Biden and Vice President Harris.
The “View” hosts found that particularly funny, considering Melania and her husband have each sold odd merch — from gold shoes to digital trading cards — for exorbitant amounts of money. Case in point was Melania Trump’s new “Vote Freedom” necklace.
“I just think that maybe Melania and Trump would be happier if they were running for president and first lady of the Home Shopping Network,” host Ana Navarro joked.

There was no case of Friday-itis on the latest episode of The View because the cohosts were clearly feeling spicy with their first “Hot Topic” discussion. Per usual, the first order of business for Joy Behar, Sara Haines, Ana Navarro, Sunny Hostin, and Alyssa Farah Griffin was to talk about the latest hubbub regarding the former president. Only this time, they did a bit of a repeat of Thursday’s opener by discussing Melania Trump’s book tour interview, after noting that a press conference controversially preempted their previous episode. In the reviewed footage, the former first lady bemoans the cost of necessities for everyday individuals, which is a common complaint due to inflation. The View‘s panelists thought her take was rich, though, considering she and her husband are selling so many Trump-branded items to those very same people. “So this talk of economic doom and gloom hasn’t...

The View’s latest season, Season 28, is really a pivotal season for the ladies currently on the show.
As Monsters and Critics have reported, there are rumors that ABC will examine the aging ladies and the aging demographic to determine the show’s future profitability.
This news is not great for three of the panel’s longtime hosts, as their contracts have yet to be renewed.
Whoopi Goldberg, the current moderator, Joy Behar, who fills in when Whoopi is gone, and Sunny Hostin will not return unless their contracts renew.
During this hot political season, The View would be wise to keep the panel with the tried-and-true ladies and consider any big changes next season.
One lady in particular, Sunny Hostin, has been through some challenging times this year, and now her critics won’t stop talking about her looks.

Although her political aspirations are in the rear-view, Hillary Clinton could consider a pivot to television.
On Friday’s episode of The View, co-host Whoopi Goldberg playfully floated the idea of Clinton joining the talk show’s roundtable on a more permanent basis as the former secretary of state promoted her new book Something Lost, Something Gained: Reflections on Life, Love and Liberty.

Following his Hall of Fame NFL career, Michael Strahan has held many television jobs, including hosting ABC’s The $100,000 Pyramid and working as an analyst for Fox NFL Sunday.
However, many viewers see Strahan most of the week as one of the main anchors for ABC’s Good Morning America, delivering the latest news and information.
He currently appears alongside co-anchors Robin Roberts and George Stephanopoulos, who many viewers believe makes a solid team for the show.
Strahan, 52, started full-time with GMA in 2016 after a stint on several daytime shows, including ABC’s Live! with Kelly & Michael and GMA Day with Sara Haines.
He’s remained a valuable part of the network and GMA but has previously hinted at his retirement from television.
After eight years of participating in the morning show’s early grind, viewers may wonder if Strahan will retire soon or if his career still has a long way to go.

Joy Behar once again threw her cohosts on “The View” for a loop on Friday, when she asked if Trump might have “The big D.” And for once, she wasn’t trying to make a sexual joke.
The slip came during the first segment of the day as the ABC hosts questioned why Trump is sticking so closely with Laura Loomer, even bringing her to 9/11 memorial ceremonies on Wednesday when she’s previously touted 9/11 conspiracy theories.
Host Alyssa Farah Griffin was particularly bothered by this, reiterating her belief that Trump is in mental decline, especially given the choices he’s making this week.

Many fans were shocked when they turned on ABC to watch The View, but it wasn’t on. Even more fans were disappointed because the show was supposed to feature musical guest Usher. However, there is a good reason the talk show wasn’t on, and fans can still catch the missed episode.
Here is why The View wasn’t on and where fans can see the episode.
Why Was The View Not On Wednesday?
Fans who turned on ABC to watch The View on Wednesday didn’t get to see the popular daytime talk show. The episode was filmed and is available, but it wasn’t on television at its scheduled time. There is a very good reason for its absence. ABC aired the 9/11 memorial service.

Anyone who checked out the TV Guide saw that the episode would pause to allow the memorial service to air in its place.

Last time there was a 2024 presidential debate on the way, The View cohosts shared what they thought Joe Biden needed to do to defeat Donald Trump. And while none of that exactly panned out the way they thought it would — as much of their advice didn’t exactly get heeded — they’re laying out their hopes for Kamala Harris‘ performance this time, ahead of tonight’s debate, as well. On Tuesday’s (September 10) live episode, cohosts Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Sara Haines, Sunny Hostin, and Alyssa Farah Griffin shared their thoughts on what the vice president would need to say and do in order to win the debate against the former president. “I think Kamala has a really tough job ahead of her,” Hostin said, citing apathetic voters and those she heard from who said they believed Trump was the one who physically gave them their stimulus money. “They think that economically,...
