Danyell Souza is best known for as the lead vocalist for rock band Dead Posey that she formed with partner Tony Fagenson. Dead Posey has had their songs placed in numerous Television/Film & Video games as well as played notable festivals such as Download Festival, Aftershock & Louder Than Life and toured the UK, US & Canada.
Before Danyell started pursuing her music career, she was working as an actor and model. She appeared on screen in Clint Eastwoods Film "Jersey Boys" with a bit part as well as landing the lead in rock band Eve 6's music video for their single Victoria. Souza was signed to BMG Talent Agency which she was booked on adds for Adidas, Papaya Clothing etc and walked the runway at LA Fashion Week.
Danyell is married to writing partner / band mate Tony Fagenson and is the granddaughter of Robert Souza - Retired Los Angeles Homicide Detective who worked on some of the most notorious murder cases in Los Angeles such as the John Holmes Wonderland Murders. He wrote the book "Malice In Wonderland" is the writer/producer for the film "Hollywood Homicide" directed by Ron Shelton and is a producer & appears in Hulu's new series "City Of Angels."
