Sheron Dayoc is a director and producer who shifts between fiction and non-fiction storytelling. His notable films include his debut film, "Halaw/Ways of the Sea" (NETPAC Special Mention - 2011 Berlinale, NETPAC Award - Asia Pacific Screen Awards 2011, and Cinemalaya 2010 Best Film & Director), "The Crescent Rising" (Best Documentary at Busan IFF 2016, QCinema International Film Festival, and Gawad Urian 2015), and "Women of the Weeping River," which has garnered numerous local and international awards. His 2023 film, "The Gospel of the Beast," premiered at the Tokyo International Film Festival in the main competition section and won the Best Film and Young Critics Award at the inaugural Ho Chi Minh International Film Festival in 2024.
