Agnete Strand is an award winning actress who was born in Karlskrona, as a young adult Agnete moved to Los Angeles to pursue her passion for acting.
She began her studies at the Lee Strasberg Institute and later continued her studies under the guidance of other renowned teachers such as Eric Morris and Susan Peretz. At Susan Peretz's Third Street Theater, Agnete participated in numerous showcases, produced and directed children's theater, and acted in various plays. Her dedication and talent earned her a lifetime membership at the prestigious Actors Studio, West and East Coast.
After several successful years in Los Angeles, Agnete spent some years in Stockholm, where she continued her theatrical journey, performed children's theater at Teater Lusta and acted in plays at the NBV Theater. Agnete now resides in Los Angeles and part-time in Sweden.
Agnete has been acting in many independent films, as well as numerous stage performances in Los Angeles. One of her notable achievements includes producing and acting in the successful West Coast Premiere of the Swedish play "CEO" at the Hudson Theater. As an alumni of Writers Bootcamp, Agnete has also ventured into screenwriting. She has translated numerous Swedish plays and children's books. Her multifaceted talent as an actress, director, producer, and writer has garnered her multiple awards and recognition in the industry.
