Ploy Jindachote

Ploy Jindachote was born in Bangkok, Thailand December 1st, 1982. Soon
after birth, Ploy and her parents relocated to the US so both her
parents could continue their studies in a Masters program. The family
initially moved to Atlanta, Georgia where Ploy attended Schnider's and
Rockbridge Elementary School. She continued her childhood schooling and
eventually moved to Miami, Florida where she remained in school until
she moved back to Bangkok at the age of 13.
As a child in the US, Ploy showed great interest in the arts. She spent much of her time drawing and writing and participated in numerous drawing competitions. She was also very active in sports and participated in many different types of sports.
When Ploy and her family returned to Thailand, she continued her studies and eventually went on to attend one of Thailand's most prestigious universities, Chulalongkorn University, where she received a degree in Financial Accounting. During school, she was discovered by a modeling agency and soon found herself in television commercials, on magazine covers, television series and eventually starring in movies.
Ploy is considered one of the finest actors in Thailand due to her intensity and her ability to throw herself into the role. She has continued to hone her craft with her latest lead female role opposite William Hurt and Cary Elwes in the supernatural thriller 'Shadows'.
