Frank Jung co-Founded and is co-Head of the CAA Digital Media Department and TV/Film Agent at CAA. He is one of the first diverse leaders at a talent agency and Jung and his team work with the agencies' traditional and digital endemic clients focusing in areas such as: packaging series and movies, brand partnerships, representation, building new businesses and has an advisory/consulting practice.
A snapshot of his diverse client lists include representing Joe Penna, who was a YouTube star turned filmmaker with his film ARCTIC Premiering at Cannes 2018 and was in theatres 2019, and his next movie STOWAWAY starring Anna Kendrick, Toni Collette and Daniel Dae Kim will premiere on Netflix in 2021. He represents Oscar Winning Writer/Director Graham Moore for THE IMITATION GAME; Alex Tse who is showrunning the Hulu series WU TANG; to directors such as Phil Abraham of DARE DEVIL/MAD MEN and Hannah Macpherson who Directed and Wrote the Blumhouse movie PURE for Hulu. Other multi-hyphenate talent he represents include: RZA, Anna Akana, Meghan Rienks, Madison Pettis as well as comedian Jo Koy and Actor, writer, producer, Sung Kang from THE FAST AND FURIOUS franchise. He also started the TV business for Jason Blum helping Blumhouse TV become a full-fledged studio in 2017.
Jung has a unique eye at finding new platforms and doing first time game changing projects for the platform/network; for example: COBRA KAI at YouTube, which has been watched by almost 100 Million and represents the Showrunners/Directors, Jon Hurwitz & Hayden Schlossberg; and now the series airs on Netflix and was the #1 series when it premiered. He represents Kerry Washington and put together her Facebook series FIVE POINTS, which one of the first fully scripted drama series on that platform; to putting together HAND OF GOD which was one of the first Amazon owned drama series; to SPARTACUS, which was the first big budget series at Starz creating a path for many series after that; and was the first to get many series going with Jeffrey Katzenberg's platform, Quibi.
He has led the charge in the creation of new companies, including Brian Grazer and Ron Howard's NEW FORM, Jake and Jon Avnet's Indigenous Media behind 60 SECOND DOCS and FIVE POINTS; Paul Feig's company, POWDERKEG; and advising companies such as the studio GUNPOWDER & SKY, a Gen Z Digital Media company SWEETY HIGH and many more.
Jung is from Seattle, Washington, and graduated from the University of Washington with degrees in Political Science, Business, and Economics and is based in Los Angeles with his wife and 2 children.
