Has three children: two children, a daughter Jolie Rae Caussin and a son Jace Joseph Caussin, with ex-husband, Mike Caussin; a son Roman James Russell with fiance Allan Russell.

During filming of the back-to-back Return of the Living Dead: Necropolis (2005) and Return of the Living Dead: Rave to the Grave (2005) in Romania, Jana got so sick that she couldn't finish filming and had to be flown back to the states. The script had to be re-written so her character was abruptly killed off at the end. The character of "Jenny" (played by Jenny Mollen) in "ROTLD 5: Rave to the Grave" was actually written for the "Katie Williams" character.

Trained in "Scene Study" courses in Acting with teacher and "Talent Group" agent Stephen Black, who has taught many of Hollywoods finest.

In May 2018, she admitted to having multiple miscarriages during her marriage to Mike Caussin, including a miscarriage at 10 weeks pregnant last year.

In August 2016, it was announced that Kramer and her husband of 19 months, Mike Caussin, had separated in the midst of his admission into rehab for undisclosed purposes. She later said that he cheated on her again during their marriage. They eventually reconciled the following year and renewed their wedding vows in December 2017.

On April 22, 2021, Kramer has filed for divorce from Mike Caussin after a six-year marriage.
