Ryan Reynolds likely won’t be giving Martha Stewart a good laugh anytime soon.

The celebrity chef shared her honest thoughts on the Deadpool & Wolverine star during a recent appearance on Bilt Rewards’ November Rent Free game show. For one of the questions, she was asked which celebrities she thought Bilt members named as “the most fun to hang out with.”

Automatically, Stewart guessed her good friend Snoop Dogg was on the list, and she was correct. However, she was a bit shocked by the next person on the list.

“He’s probably on the list just ‘cause he covers himself up in his movies and you don’t see his face — Ryan Reynolds, is he one of those?” she asked before adding, “And you want to know something? He’s not so funny in real life. No, he’s not so funny. He’s very serious.”

Months after Deadpool 2 was released in 2018, 20th Century Fox announced plans for Once Upon A Deadpool. The sequel was toned down from an R rating to PG-13 and filmmaker David Leitch returned to shoot a few new scenes, including a cameo from Fred Savage.

It made money but received a mixed response from fans and critics for being what many felt was ultimately a cash grab. Now, speculation is running rampant that we might get a Marvel Studios-produced Deadpool Holiday Special.

Deadpool & Wolverine star Ryan Reynolds took to Instagram last night to share some behind-the-scenes photos from a recent shoot with Blind Al actor Leslie Uggams. Look closely, and you'll notice that their apartment was decorated for Christmas. It seems some green screen work was also required.

After stirring much controversy with his screenplay for Larry Clark’s Kids, Harmony Korine doubled down on his unsparing view of down-and-out youth with his 1997 feature directorial debut, Gummo. Set in Xenia, Ohio, but shot in the derelict outskirts of Korine’s childhood hometown of Nashville, the film depicts the corners of America that go neglected to the point of ruin. Even the setting of Xenia is telling: Gummo takes place in the present, but the opening narration by Solomon (Jacob Reynolds) focuses on the massive 1974 tornado that devastated the town, and one gets the sense from images of dilapidated buildings and masses of junk littering yards and streets that the area never recovered.

Deliberately eschewing a linear narrative that might have brought a larger thematic structure to the film, Korine instead arranges Gummo as a series of vignettes that allows for perspective to switch between characters like a baton.

Marvel Studios and Disney’s highest grossing R-rated movie of all-time, Deadpool & Wolverine, just won’t stop at the domestic box office, for in its 13th weekend, the Shawn Levy directed, Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman starring feature has clicked past Warner Bros.’ Barbie ($636.2M) at the domestic box office to become the 12th highest grossing movie of all-time with $636.3M.

Deadpool & Wolverine completes this feat in 87 days at the domestic box office whereas Barbie was in theaters for 185 days per Box Office Mojo.

The PG-13 Barbie is still taller than the foul-mouthed duo at the global box office, $1.44 billion to $1.33 billion. Barbie is Warner Bros.’ highest grossing movie ever.

This weekend stateside, Deadpool & Wolverine made $679K at 1,525 theaters, -13%.

Julien’s Auctions is handling the sale of the Gunsmoke props, costumes, and memorabilia. Items come from the estate of James Arness, who played Marshall Matt Dillon on the show, which aired from 1955 to 1975 on CBS. Other collectibles are associated with cast members Burt Reynolds and Dennis Weaver.

Collectors can bid on more than 230 one-of-a-kind items, including Matt Dillon’s Colt single action revolver, which is estimated to sell for between $20,000 and $40,000.

The billion-dollar hit movie had eyes on where they were spending the budget, especially when it came to the superhero suits. However, the film also had to introduce several variants of the Wolverine, and one of them wore the comic-accurate brown and yellow suit. Sebastian Stan is a key member of the Marvel Cinematic Universe thanks to his ongoing role as Bucky Barnes/Winter Soldier, a character he’s been playing since 2011’s “Captain America: The First Avenger.” But the actor recently confirmed on the “Happy Sad Confused” podcast that he tried to break into other Hollywood franchises before landing the Marvel gig, one of which was “Star Trek.”

“There were a couple things I didn’t get that I really, desperately wanted,” Stan said. “Captain Kirk for J.J. Abrams was one of the first things that I got very close to. I was really close and I had a screen test with him at Paramount studios and my manager had me do a separate photoshoot where I would try and replicate all of these William Shatner pictures just to send to [J.J.] to see how much I look like him and stuff. Didn’t get it.

But there came a point when the Marvel veteran nearly bombed his entire career around the same time he was set to experience a breakthrough. There was a slight possibility we would have never seen him star alongside Chris Evans, rather be a part of Marvel’s biggest rival, DC Comics!

Sebastian Stan made his MCU debut in 2011's Captain America: The First Avenger for what proved to be a memorable, but relatively minor, role as Bucky Barnes. 

The actor was given far more to do in Captain America: The Winter Soldier and Bucky's story continued in Captain America: Civil War before he was put centre stage in The Falcon and The Winter Soldier.

Despite being part of a story arc that's played out for upwards of a decade, Stan tells Josh Horowitz that he'd have liked to spend more time delving into Bucky's stint as a Hydra assassin. 

"The whole Winter Soldier aspect of that character...I almost wish we'd have explored more of that," the actor explained. "There's that whole situation where he's having memory lapses and some of his old memories are coming back and he's short-circuiting. He wasn't as brainwashed to a machine if you look in the comic books.

It ain’t cheap being a superhero, but it’s the suits where they really get you. Deadpool & Wolverine featured plenty of variants of the title characters, including an appearance from Logan in his classic John Byrne brown and tan suit. The suit appears on screen for just 10 seconds, but it cost more than many of us make in an entire year.

ComicBookMovie.com spoke with Deadpool & Wolverine editors Dean Zimmerman and Shane Reid, who revealed that the brown and tan suit cost a whopping $100,000. Quite the price tag. As the production couldn’t afford to spend that on a whole bunch of Wolverine variant suits, Zimmerman explained that they had to choose more cost-effective variants such as Old Man Logan and Wolvie on a cross.

"Deadpool & Wolverine" was so positively stuffed with Easter eggs, cameos, and the Merc with a Mouth's usual wanton hijinks that it's hardly surprising that some choice bits got left on the cutting room floor. Fans of specific characters might've felt a tad burned three months ago knowing that their favorite folks got short shrift on the big screen, but everyone should know by now that these moments will eventually be included at the very least as deleted scenes on the Blu-ray and digital releases, if not added in an extended cut. And when it comes to the "Deadpool" franchise, you have to know that star, co-writer and producer Ryan Reynolds cares deeply about how his movies play as a whole. His job is to make a great superhero film, not offer up unmitigated fan service.
