Jerry Decker is the writer and director of the award winning French New Wave horror film, Le Dernier d'Entre Nous as well as the upcoming crime drama Cul-De-Sac.
Jerry graduated from Cal Arts with a B.F.A. in film and have also studied at The Writing Institute at Sarah Lawrence College. After college he spent four years writing for the A&E Biography. Decker continued to write and edit a variety of shows for the History Channel, The Travel Channel, The Outdoor Channel and TLC, before moving to Original Productions, producers of Deadliest Catch, Storage Wars, and Ice Road Truckers.
At Original Productions, Decker was a series producer of the hit Discovery shows, Lobster Wars, Swords, and Verminators, the NBC reality series, Shark U and National Geographic's Wild Justice. In 2011, while at Gurney Productions, Decker produced the special effects reality series, Monster Man for SyFy, before accepting the position of executive producer of series at National Geographic Television. There he oversaw series such as To Catch a Smuggler, Inside: Combat Rescue, Inside: Secret America, and Top Secret Sites.
Relocating to New York City, Decker began a relationship with ITV Studios, running the hit Animal Planet series, Rocky Mountain Bounty Hunters for two seasons. Since then, he has directed a variety of non-fiction series for Discovery, National Geographic, and Netflix.
