(Los Angeles, CA) The dystopian science-fiction audio drama Broken Road, created by Fear The Walking Dead writer Jacob Pinion and Hero Mode producer E.J. Kavounas, has published its entire ten-episode first season, following a veteran struggling with obsolete military implants who teams up with a defiant farmer and her daughter against a corrupt, morally unhinged lawman. The first season has reached over 100K downloads.
Broken Road offers something for everyone: action-packed fight scenes, quiet moments of personal struggle, romantic tension, and human connection. At its core, it is a story of community-based resilience and resourcefulness in the face of unrelenting corporate greed and seemingly insurmountable forces. Based on the short story “Patience Lake” by Matthew Claxton, writers Pinion and Kavounas were inspired by the subject.
“I was drawn to the stark juxtaposition of near-future sci-fi within a grounded, human story about survival and the refusal to let go of the American dream,...

As of late, the name Karen has been synonymous with entitlement, bigotry and “I want to speak to a manager” energy. What better way to explore this phenomenon than with a suspense thriller appropriately titled Karen starring Taryn Manning as the titular touchstone of privilege?
The Orange Is The New Black alum is set to play Karen White (a suitable name) who believes that races should stick to their “own kind”. She carries this belief into her neighborhood. So when her new Black neighbors Assata and Malik move in, she makes it her personal mission to remove them from the neighborhood, by any means necessary. However, Assata and Malik don’t have time for this. As cardholding Black Lives Matter members they aren’t going down without a fight.

Hasbro and Machinima have released the first trailer for their upcoming new Transformers animated series, Transformers: Titans Return. This is the second chapter of the series that started with Transformers: Combiner Wars, which is a series you should watch, especially if you're a fan of the original 80s Transformers series!
This latest iteration of Transformers was made for all of us who grew up on the original Transformers because it captures the style and spirit of it. This new trailer definitely shows off some cool footage from the new series, and I'm looking forward to checking it out! Here are the details that have been released for Titans Return:
Picking up right where the destruction of the Combiner Wars left off, Titans Return takes the action of the Prime Wars Trilogy to new ‘heights,’ and features return appearances from many fan-favorite Transformers characters as well as introduces new Autobots and Decepticons.

Transformers: Titans Return will unite geeky favourites Michael Dorn, Nolan North, Jason David Frank and Peter Cullen...
The latest Transformers movie may have received a critical drubbing, but that isn't going to stop Machinima's online-only animated output.
Transformers: Titans Return will be the next short series from Machinima. It will follow on from Combiner Wars, which has apparently garnered over 125 million views worldwide since its debut last year.
An impressive, geek-friendly cast has been assembled for the series. The original Optimus Prime voice actor, Peter Cullen, is joining the show, as is Judd Nelson, who voiced Hot Rod and Rodimus Prime in the 1986 animated movie.
Alongside these veteran Autobot voice boxes, fans will also get to hear Michael Dorn as Fortress Maximus, Wil Wheaton as Perceptor, Nolan North as Metroplex and Jason David Frank as Emissary. Exciting times!

A new digital hub is appealing to fans of indie science-fiction. It’s called Recursor.TV, and it features a collection of curated short and films as well as an original web series called Nina_Unlocked, which stars YouTuber Lana McKissack as an android who recently rebooted herself after previously serving as a robotic assassin.
A visit to Recursor’s website reveals a collection of visually-intriguing projects, which are grouped into sub-genres like “Alien Encounter,” “Cyberpunk Noir,” and “Post Apocalyptic.” While many new niche platforms have employed subscription-based models, Recursor’s content is free, with individual videos routed through external players like YouTube and Vimeo. With that model, Recursor can shine its spotlight on the class of up-and-coming filmmakers it wishes to champion.
“This is a golden era for hard science fiction, and we’re thrilled to be premiering the first video platform devoted to the genre,” said Recursor CEO...

Greetings Lrm faithful!
I know it’s been awhile since we first announced the screenplay contest for the upcoming webseries Dark/Web, but rest assured, it was no easy task to narrow down the stellar screenplays you all sent in, but of course, we had to make a decision.
Lrm and the architects of last year’s cult hit Circle are proud to present the screenplay contest winner (drumroll, please):

..
.
Christopher Webster!!
As we mentioned above, there were a lot of contenders here, but Webster eventually won us over with his deftly-written script, “Hacked.”
The logline for the heart-pounding winning entry is as follows:
“When a chance encounter with a pop star brings seventeen-year-old Misty Hansen instant online fame, she thinks her dreams have come true. But after a series of pranks puts her life in danger, Misty discovers that getting noticed online can be a total nightmare, and...

The first episode was released on Verizon go90 this week in the United States. It will be released on Sohu in China and Vimeo and YouTube for the rest of the world.
Here’s the synopsis:
Taking place 40 years after the great war on Earth, the eight-episode digital series introduces all-new characters that, combined with characters fans have known for decades, will tell the Transformers storytelling in an exciting new way.
The Autobots and Decepticons have disbanded and returned to Cybertron. With the days of Optimus Prime and Megatron over, Cybertron is now ruled by a triumvirate. However,...

Technium, hosted by YouTuber Lana McKissack, takes on a different sci-fi technology in each episode. Viewers get to see the gadget in action, while some quick shots from Back To The Future II compare the Flyboard to its fictional counterpart. Erin go bragh! St. Paddy's Day is here, and plenty of popular YouTube channels are getting in the holiday spirit. Here's a look around at some of the videos we've seen this holiday weekend. Harley Morenstein and Hannah Hart are basically the king and queen of holiday videos. It seems as if every time a festivity rolls around, they each roll out a themed, drunken mess of a meal. Daily Grace takes a break from her own St Paddy's Day vlog to join in the fun, as depicted above. Chug, chug, chug! The best holiday video comes from Chester See, who created a cover of Rihanna's "Stay" alongside former Internet Icon contestant Lana McKissack.
