As Johnny Depp attempts to make his comeback after a very public defamation trial, the Pirates of the Caribbean star returned to Cannes with his new film Jeanne Du Barry. Additionally, Depp will be lending his pipes to a new animated feature titled Johnny Puff: Secret Mission, in which he’ll be playing the titular character of Johnny Puff. The new film is inspired by the Puffins series and is directed by Nestor F. Dennis and produced by Iervolino & Lady Bacardi Entertainment, who is behind the new Michael Mann Enzo Ferrari biopic, Ferrari, starring Adam Driver.
Deadline has now reported that prior to the 2024 premiere, Johnny Puff: Secret Mission has signed deals with international distributors for its global release. The Johnny Depp animated puffin film has been sold to Little Brother, which will distribute to Germany, Ak Entertainment, which will release the film in Korea, Melies is the distributor for Spain,...

When we reviewed Trauma Therapy: Psychosis it was mentioned the fillm was a reworked version of The Vance Institute. A was originally shot with the intent of being released in black and white with a few colour scenes. Instead, it was released all in colour.
There was also new footage added featuring Tom Sizemore as the host of The Tom Sizemore Show interviewing Victor, one of the characters from the 2019 film Trauma Therapy. After Sizemore died this made a centrepiece of the film’s publicity as his last film despite there being several more of his films yet to be released.
This was shot and edited in without the participation of the original director, Lawrie Brewster who says he was assured he would have the final cut.

A sequel to the 2019 Trauma Therapy, which I remember as not too bad of a film with a lofty concept but sadly a sloppy execution leaving viewers with a middling taste. A sequel that I don’t think anyone was asking for but here we find ourselves. A sequel marred in a touch of controversy due to unhappy directors, overbearing producers, writers, actors and the untimely demise of the late Tom Sizemore.
Apparently, there are two cuts of this movie out in the wilderness. One with and one without Tom Sizemore and to be honest I can’t see there would be much of a difference considering the insignificance of his screen time. But… it is always nice to see the man on screen.

'Pirates of the Caribbean' star Vince Lozano has called for Johnny Depp to return as Captain Jack Sparrow. The actor starred as pirate Jacoby in the franchise's original 2003 movie 'Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl' and feels that Depp "deserves" a chance to reprise the lead role now his legal disputes with ex-wife Amber Heard are over.Vince told MovieWeb: "I think he deserves another shot as Jack, but I don't think it's going to happen, I'm hearing a lot of stories out there."The audience is there though. I do a lot of pirate conventions and there's such a big subculture of people that dress up like pirates, and they love Johnny."Depp was axed as Jack Sparrow by Disney in 2018 in an attempt to bring a "new energy" to the franchise but Disney Studios Motion Picture president Sean Bailey did...

Yo ho, ho! But where is the rum? And come to think of it, where is Johnny Depp? Despite some serious calls for Johnny Depp to reprise the beloved – and often sloshed – Captain Jack Sparrow for another Pirates of the Caribbean movie, some are casting their doubts on that ever happening.
Vince Lozano, who played Jacoby in 2003’s Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl – and got an ax to the back courtesy of Orlando Bloom’s Will Turner – told MovieWeb that he supports the idea of bringing back Johnny Depp for one more big screen and high seas Pirates outing but isn’t so sure it will ever actually come to fruition. “I think he deserves another shot as Jack, but I don’t think it’s going to happen, I’m hearing a lot of stories out there. A sequel to 2019’s Trauma Therapy, the story continues as self-help guru Tobin Vance (Tom Malloy) arrives in the UK to avoid arrest from his US operations while secretly running more retreats. With the help of new assistants, he seeks to lure vulnerable individuals into a promised retreat to better themselves, yet the group are unaware of the nightmares awaiting them.
It should be noted that Trauma Therapy: Psychosis arrived with an air of controversy revealed on Twitter by director Lawrie Brewster. He considers this film to be an unauthorized re-edit of his film, with criticism aimed at it being “exploitative of Tom Sizemore’s death”, which left Brewster to request that the director credit be given to his...

Richard Friedman, whom genre fans will know as the director of Arrow Video titles Doom Asylum and Scared Stiff, helms this cop drama starring Jason Gedrick – an actor who’s probably most well-known for the Iron Eagle franchise of the 80s but whom also starred in one of the most underrated TV cop shows of the 90s, Ez Streets. Friedman is no stranger to cop dramas either, having helmed episodes of Silk Stalkings and Baywatch Nights alongside a myriad of genre television.
