Masao Kusakari

Masao Kusakari was born in Fukuoka to an American father & a Japanese mother. Because of his heritage, he was taller than the average Japanese & was considered good looking. As a result, his public debut began when he became a model for the Shiseido Cosmetics Company in the early 1970s. From there, he ventured into TV & film, where he has worked steadily for over 30 years. He has a broad range, from starring in a TV comedy series such as Tsuhan Man (Shopping Hero) to singing in musicals like Victor-Victoria, My Fair Lady & Cabaret.
