- TriviaBorn in Brooklyn, New York, Roberta Haze started studying dance at the age of 12. At 17 she landed her first road company "Kismet". She performed on Broadway in "Happy Hunting" and then in London in the World Tour of "West Side Story". Roberta played the original role of Tintinabula in the Broadway show "A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum". Her final Broadway performance in "Ballroom" segued her career into the world of Wardrobe.
For decades Roberta has refined her skills as a Dancer and as a Designer in both Television and Cinema. In television she worked as a dancer on "The Dean Martin Show", worked with Dick Van Dyke, Orson Welles, and appeared in several TV Specials. In Cinema Roberta performed in the Musical Classic "Hello, Dolly!", and appeared in the movie "Gambit" and "John Goldfarb, Please Come Home!"
In 1985, Roberta started her new-found career in wardrobe on the TV hit "The Facts of Life". From there Roberta has worked through the ranks, landing her first job as a Costume Designer on "Veronica's Closet". Over the years Roberta has had the honor of designing several television shows that have influenced America's view on POP culture. Her innovative and creative ideas, coupled with her selfless ability to collaborate have brought her great success.
Roberta is a happy mother of 2 and has 3 amazing grandchildren. She resides in Venice Beach and enjoys a fun and creative life.
