Pascal Franchot grew up in New York City with his actress mother Jill Andre and in Los Angeles with his filmmaker father Richard Franchot. Coming from three generations, grandmother Ellen Lowe (Citizen Cane) and movie star cousin Franchot Tone (Mutiny on the Bounty), his entire life has been in the film business.
For over 25 years, award winning filmmaker Pascal has directed, written and produced feature films, TV shows and commercials. After graduating from film school in New York, Pascal began his career directing commercials and music videos and then segued into film and TV with over a 100 hours of television content for the following networks; ABC, Bravo, CNN, Discovery, Fox TV, Google, History Channel, MTV, National Geographic, and many others. Pascal joined the Directors Guild of America in 2007 and has directed and/or produced projects with many notable actors and musicians, including Charlize Theron, Leonardo DiCaprio, Gisele Bunchen, Naomi Watts, James Earl Jones, Pierce Brosnan, Gillian Jacobs, Tom Arnold, John Malkovich, Little Richard, Ottmar Liebert, Carlos Santana, to name a few.
Through his production company, Fastback Pictures, Pascal directed the horror film, "Milo" and directed/produced the teen drama, thriller, "Triple Dog", starring Brittany Robertson, Scout Taylor-Compton and Nolan Funk. Franchot produced "Gardens of the Night" starring Gillian Jacobs, Evan Ross, Tom Arnold and John Malkovich. Presently Fastback Pictures is in development on the female driven, sci-fi, action film and TV series, "Rider" and the action, thriller "Scarlet".
