During the making one of her more recent films (in 2005), she acted in a scene staged in a real motel. The place was half-closed because of the shooting, and many of the usual clients of the motel didn't believe the owner that the real Patricia Llaca was indeed waiting for her call in one of the rooms. The second time the actress went to the motel for her latest scene, even local authorities
appeared to honor her.
