Jeff has donated his time to support Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. When not working, he enjoys sky diving, playing guitar, cooking and riding his bicycle.

Jeff Branson has appeared in three of the C.S.I. shows as different characters.

At the 36th annual Daytime Emmys of 2009, he won Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series for his role as Shayne Lewis on Guiding Light. The episode he submitted to voters aired December 19, 2008. The category - which resulted in a tie between Branson and All My Children's Vincent Irizarry - was presented by Gilles Marini and Rachael Ray.
