Angel Studios to Begin Production on Heartfelt Series Home to Harmony for 2025...

Today, Angel Studios announced their series, Home to Harmony, will begin production in 2025.

The series is an episodic drama based on the best-selling book series by Philip Gulley.

Michael Landon Jr. and Brian Bird, creators of When Calls the Heart, are at the heart of Home to Harmony. They will be joined by Ken Lazebnik, the co-writer of Praire Home Companion, the Movie.

The “Home to Harmony” series comes from Michael Landon Jr. and Brian Bird, best known as the creators of “When Calls the Heart,” the long-running Hallmark series drama that has been on the air since 2014 and is now filming its 12th season. Ken Lazebnik, a TV writer who has worked on “Touched By an Angel” and was a writer on the radio show “Prairie Home Companion,” is also co-creating the series with Landon Jr. and Bird.

On Friday, The Futon Critic shared a Hallmark Media press release about Wcth Season 11 premiere ratings. “The premiere reached 2.8 million unduplicated total viewers.”

This episode premiered on Sunday, April 7. It is entitled “When Stars Align” and shows Elizabeth getting a makeover. Now that her hair is shorter, she is embracing change. Moreover, that change comes in wearing red serge and is called Nathan.

Lori Loughlin was a prominent cast member of When Calls The Heart (Wcth) from Season 1 to Season 6 playing Abigail Stanton. Of course, the Hallmark Channel released Lori in March 2019 after she was arrested for her role in getting her daughters Isabella Rose and Olivia Jade falsely admitted into the University of Southern California.

In August 2020, Lori was sentenced to two months in prison, two years of supervised release, 100 hours of community service, and a fine of $150,000. It’s been five years since the scandal broke, and while what Loughlin did was terrible, she has since acknowledged her mistake, taken accountability, and paid the consequences, which begs the question – will Lori and Abigail return to Wcth, anytime soon?

Krakow has played Elizabeth Thornton on the When Calls the Heart since it premiered in 2014. The show recently wrapped up its 10th season and has been renewed for season 11, which will air sometime in 2024. Now, a recent Instagram post from Krakow hints that more news about the upcoming season could be on the horizon.

“Tfw you have exciting things to announce but you caaaan’t yet…,” the actor captioned a short video of herself in costume as Elizabeth. In the clip, she steps out of a doorway on the Hope Valley set and holds a finger to her lips.

At one point, it seemed like Lori Loughlin wouldn't ever be on a Hallmark project again after the cabler cut ties with the actress amid the college admissions scandal.

At the time, she was edited out of episodes of When Calls the Heart that were about to air and lost her role in the Garage Sale Mysteries movies, including completed but unaired mysteries.

As you'll recall, Loughlin and husband Mossimo Giannulli both pleaded guilty to conspiracy charges for securing admission to the University of Southern California for their two daughters.

The Full House alum served two months in jail and was ordered to pay a $150,000 fine and complete 150 hours of community service.

The actors’ guild awarded Hallmark Media’s family Western “When Calls the Heart” with a SAG-AFTRA interim agreement in the midst of its standoff with the AMPTP.

This means Season 11 will move forward with filming prior to Sunday’s premiere of Season 10. The series now joins Apple TV+’s “Tehran” and “The Chosen,” which also received an interim agreement from the guild. SAG-AFTRA has granted 68 projects with interim agreements thus far during the actors strike, which started July 14.

The series, which stars Erin Krakow, is one of a number of a TV series to land an interim agreement from the actors guild following similar arrangements for Apple’s Tehran and faith-based series The Chosen.

The move will allow Season 11 of the series to film ahead of the premiere of Season 10 on July 30.

SAG-AFTRA has now granted 68 projects interim agreements to shoot during the strike including movies such as Glenn Close’s The Summer Book and A24 films Mother Mary and I Dream of Unicorns.
